Was a real pretty day here today - temp in the low 80's not humidity sunny and with a nice breeze all day. Think tomorrow is gonna be a scorcher though - back up into the 90's. So am thankful that we are having such nice weather. Didn't do much today just hung around the house doing what i need. Had sliced tomatoes that I got from the farmer yesterday and the corn on the cob and chicken cutlets that I sauteed up. Ate a couple plums for dessert. Hoping your Friday will turn out some good news. Have a good nite. Hugs, WEndy
Hi there. I'm getting excited about the coming cool air that will be here this weekend. I'm so tired of the heat. We don't run out air conditioner at night, just the fans, so it can be warm in the bedroom at night even though we have the back door open so the air can come through the fan. Cool nights are a favorite of mine. How is the weather where you live? Well take care my friend and enjoy your afternoon. Hugs, Cheryl
A cool breeze , a cool morning and I am glorious happy for I can smell fall in the air today. I am having, at the moment, a delicious cup of some flavored fall coffee, to make this day even more special, along with my favorite fall coffee mug. May your day be ever so kind to you as you do your daily duties. Smiles Gloria
The day after the day that I walk out the front door and the air is crisp, with just a hint of the Autumn days ahead, I put cinnamon in my coffee. ~Betsy Cañas Garmon, betsygarmon.com
Hi ya Pam - it was such a beautiful day her today - low 80's, sunny, no humidity and a great breeze all day. Went back to the Moose to help finish up making the lunches for people to pick up or she will deliver to those who can't drive. i stopped at the senior center at a farm was there selling his goods. I got 3 gorgeous tomatoes, 2 ears of corn called honey and cream, 2 cukes, some peaches and plums. Can't wait to eat a peach as they are just ripe and to make a tomatoes sandwich with mayo. Will be like a little bit of home. Both of us went to the VFW as it was their first wing nite and they did really good - lots of people there. I had 5 parmesean garlic and Rich had 5 buffalo. I also had a vascular test done on my legs that the doc ordered. So we'll see how that turns out - i should be able to see the results online tomorrow. Also see the doc at the end of the month - can't wait as I've had a pain in my side for a couple weeks now. not sure what's that all about but hopefully I'll find out probably with more tests. Sure hope your day went well. Hope it cools off for you soon and that you get some rain. At least your area isn't on fire!!! Always something to be thankful for, right? Hugs, Wendy
I was 16 when I got my drivers license or I guess it was 17 when it was all over. My boyfriend - husband to be - taught me how to drive as he was 2 years older and already had his license. He also taught a friend who I worked with how to drive. Can't remember if I took my grandmother's car or if it was my grandfather's car to take the test in. But in those days you had to parallel park. Her's was a station wagon and his was a Tempest with no power steering. Fun times. It was warm today but there was a breeze felt like 97 but was only 87. Helped out in the kitchen at the Moose today and will go back tomorrow to finish making the lunches and putting them together. Will stay there to answer the phone while she delivers them and people come to pick theirs up. then at 4:30 I have an ultrasound of both my lower legs then when that's done, it to the VFW for some wings. Hope your day is a good one Pam. Keep cool and hope for rain! Hugs, Wendy
