Good evening Pam - Are you happy now that the holiday is over, or was it no big thing for you? I know things are just not the same as it was years ago when we all had bbq's and family and friends who got together. Now it seems just to be another day. Guess that's what happens when you get older and family each has different diretions to go. Went to the VFW for a meeting tonite but didn't stay that long after the meeting was over - just long enough to eat. They had scalloped potatoes, subs, chicken salad sandwiches, salads - potato and pasta. Didn't stay long as our friend just had her knee replaced and was beginning to feel uncomfortable so we left right after them and were home around 9. Earlier this afternoon I got a shot in my eye and it still hurts and I don't see as well out of it as I have in the past but tomorrow it'll be much better. Good morning Pam Rob & I are doing fine we had a cook-out for the two of us yesterday we had Bacon/cheddar burgers & hot dogs and for dessert we had ano bake banana split cheesecake and a beer to wash everything down and we also cleaned inside the house,so today we're just taking it easy and staying inside where it's cool 'cause for the rest of the week it's going to be in the 90*"s Hugs,Ceil & Robert
Good afternoon and Happy Labor Day. Are you doing anything for today? We aren't. Just a normal day here as Tony had to work. I went shopping for the things we needed this week. Walmart wasn't to bad. Its a hot and breezy day here. Its 100* and feels like 97*. I took out the trash a little while ago and the heat is awful with the wind. Feels like a blow dryer going outside. Just a note to say hello. Hope you are doing well, and had a good weekend. We got some much needed rain on Thursday and Friday. Clouds and sun over the weekend and the temps have been much cooler.
