We got some of your weather today - it was 95 - 98 with a heat index of over 105. It had to go for blood work and then I went tothe post office to mail my granddaughter a late birthday card. it was one that I had made and knew she would love it. It only had a little plastic peice on it and it cost $1.40 as he said it was over the weight. I wanted it hand stamped and not to go thru the machine so it would tear up the design. That's just nuts to charge that. Friday I went and mailed out another homemade card and wanted it hand stamped and they charged me either 40 or 60 cents extra just to stamp it in red. Now that was way crazy. Hope you're making out ok with the heat in your area - at least we are getting a break for two days - going down to 86. It's a hot one for sure here so I imagine it's even hotter in Texas. We'll be hitting 100 with heat index of about 110. I'm not going out at all in this heat except to go to the car when we leave to go play dominoes. Glad you only have a couple more days of work Pam, as I know you are looking forward to a nice rest period and to be home more often expeially to spend more time with the family.
