Well I have been mostly in the house with the AC being comfortable and cool. D, id some vacuuming, put clothes in the dryer (finally) and hung up all the shirts an got dinner together. I also was outside earlier this afternoon pulling some weeds, but not for long as my back won't allow me to do a lot of bending over like that. It's a drop in the ocean anyway - I wish I coud operate the weed eater. Rich won't do it number one due to the heat - it's 90 + with our heat index way over 100 - he has COPD so not alot gets done during this heat.
Did you have any damage from the hurricane that came ashore back in 21? I was watching a tv show this morning and part of it was about that hurricane in the winter and lots of power outages in many parts of Texas. If it hit you, how did you make out? It sure is a shame about the fires in Hilo, Hawaii with so much damage and loss of life. There was a fire here in the Outer Banks, wheree 3 died in a house fire. We have so much to be thankful for - don't we? Well guess it's time I should go make dinner but what I really want to do is take a nap!! Lots of hugs, Wendy

Hi there. I woke up a few minutes before 5 this morning to it thundering. Had a lot of flashing lightening, but unfortuntely no rain. Oh well, we have a chance for rain tonight and tomorrow so hopefully we will get some. Not a lot going on here. Got all my housework done and took a nap so I'm good for the rest of the day. Do you have any plans for the weekend? We don't, just going to be lazy. Tony has been working hard at work so tomorrow we will be lazy. Goin to get up to almost 100 this afternoon. To hot for me. I'm ready for it to cool off. Then I will be complaining that its to cold. I like Spring and Fall. What is your favorite season? I will go for now my friend. Take care and enjoy your weekend.
