Hi there. I'm so tired of this heat we are having. And it isn't even August yet. That is usually a hot month with no wind. But I'm not ready for the cold weather either. I'm more of a Fall and Spring time person. I hope you are having a good afternoon my friend. Just wanting to let you know I have a doctor's appoinment Friday morning, which is out of town and we will be leaving tomorrow afternoon to spend the night, so I won't be on here tomorrow or Friday. I get this thing done called hormone pellet therapy.I get this done every 3 months and I have to go to a specialist that is 4 hours away. I don't mind the drive, it gets us out of town. We usually go and see our oldest daughter and her two sons. But this time we won't be seeing her as she and the boys have moved to Utah. She is getting married and having another baby boy in late Septmeber. I'm hoping we will be able to go see them in early October. Hopefully the weather won't be bad and we can go. You can never tell. I went to a thrift store this morning looking for cooler tops to wear. I found a few t-shirts that weren't thick or black. Not much else going on just doing the laundry. You're probably getting ready to go to bed so you might not see this till tomorrow. Wanted to say I hoope that you had a good weekend and also today. Also wanted to tell you Bath Fitters came today. The call said between 7 and 9 so we got up at 7 - UGH - I didn't go to bed till 2. The guy didn't show till 10 saying his partner called in so he had to load the truck by himself and where he was is an hour away. He worked all day till 6 without a break or lunch. Very nice guy. He'll be back tomorrow to finished up. the old shower is gone and the new base is put in and the green board is up. The shower doors are still not done for another 2 weeks but he'll give us a shower curtain to use so we can use the shower in the meantime. At least I won't hear Rich complaining anymore.
It rained hard this morning but stopped before the man came so it was nice out and had cooler temps due to the rain - in the low 80's but tomorrow we'll be back in the 90's and near 100 by the end of the week. Hope you had a nice time whiile at home and got some 'me' time in or at the least some relaxation. So has the new person at work started yet? Good afternoon my friend.Its a hot Monday here. Already up to 97* I hope you are staying cool where you are. I'm in the house enjoying the cool air from the air conditioner. Sounds like is going to be in the 100's most of the week. Had a nice weekend. Saturday was my husband's birthday. We didn't do anything special. Just stayed at home.
