We got a good rain last night, 2 1/2 inches. We have a chance for more rain tonight. I was getting ready to take out the trash earlier and opened the front door and it was pouring down rain. So I had to wait until it stopped raining to go to the dumpster. The sun has been trying to come out and I sure hope it doesn't . That will make for a humid day if it does. I hope you are having a good afternoon. And it isn't to hot or humid where you live. Take care my friend and many hugs to you, Cheryl
May your day be ever so nice to you as you do your daily duties of the day and take some time off to enjoy the moments of the day with a fresh cup of coffee and or tea. We are having very cool temps this week so a nice hot cup of coffee sounds delicious to me right at the moment. Smiles Gloria

Good afternoon to you. I hope you are having a nice afternoon. Its a cloudy and cool day here today. A cool front came through last night and have made the day very nice, except we have a chance for thunderstorms later today and into tonight. Hopefully they won't be bad. Had a nice time last night and the family get together at my sister in law's house. Got to watch the kids and some grown ups pop fireworks. Just tired today from staying up late. Didn't get to bed until 11:15 last night and I am usually in bed by 9:30. I have already had a nap and feel refreshed.Enjoy the rest of your afternoon and evening my friend. Take care. Hugs, Cheryl
Our city puts on a fireworks display every year, and this year we found the perfect spot to watch them from. I sat right behind our vehicle, in a fold-away lawn chair, without needing to turn my head, or crane my neck, an watched every single explosion, perfectly, FABULOUS. You can bet we'll be going back there next year, and every year after that. I also wear my, star-spangled, boonie hat, with my favorite pin on it. "GOD BLESS THE WHOLE WORLD, no exceptions"...
GOOD MORNING, LOVE, HUGS & BLESSINGS, Ms. Pam, I pray YOU have a WHOLEHEARTEDLY WELCOME WEDNESDAY/HUMPDAY, and are having a WONDIFEROUS WEEK, my friend...
Hey Pam - you didn't day if you had plans for the 4th or not. guess you are staying home and celebrating yourselves. We are going to our friends ffor a BBQ. Not sure how many will show up but we brought two peperoni and cheese trays. That should be plenty. It was 97 degrees by 10 am this morning and very humid. Around 3 a thunderstorm came thru and the temp dropped by 20 degrees - nice out now but I hear rumbling now and then so I hope it isn't coming back. Last nite I cooked for our domino game and made a blueberry jello pie - it turneed out good but a bit too sweet. There is a little left that we took home and I think if we have a smaller peice that our friend cut for us last nite, it won't be as bad. Of course whipped cream always helps! What ever your plans are I hoope you have a ncie 4th of July. No firworks for us - missed the city's show as it was on the 1st but I did see it online. Hugs, Wendy
Happy 4th July to All my USA Friends....We are going through a heat wave right now......hoping to be gone in a couple days....Hope your summer is going well...Hugs Lorri
Good afternoon to you. Its warming up to another hot and humid day. I already have the air conditoner on. My husband and I worked out in the yard most of the afternoon yesterday. We were cleaning up the tree limbs from the wind storm we had a week ago. It was a hot and humid day yesterday. We usually go and get groceries on Sunday evening and eat out. But we didn't last night as we were tired and sweaty from working in the yard. Do you have anything planned for the 4th? We do, we are going down the street to Tony, my husband, sister's house for eating out in the yard and then watching the younger ones pop fireworks later after it gets dark. I'm just taking it easy this afternoon. I did go to Walmart and get the stuff we needed since we didn't go yesterday. Enjoy the rest of your day my friend and take care and stay cool. Many hugs to you, Cheryl
