HI PAM, OH I DID HAVE A WONDERFUL TIME WITH MY FAMILY. SO TIRED WAS A VERY SHORT TRIP BUT OH SO LOVELY. HAD FOREST FIRES THERE AND OVERNIGHT 8 MORE BROKE OUT , FROM LIGHTNING. TEMPS WAS 106 + EVERY DAY AND THAT WAS BY THE RIVER . WAS MUCH HOTTER IN THE CITY . THANK YOU FOR DROPPING A LINE, SO NICE TO HEAR FROM YOU. DO HAVE A GOOD FRIDAY AND KEEP WELL PAM.
Afternoon Pam. How hot is it in Texas today? We are at 94 with feels like 96 but there is a breeze blowing out there so at least it's not a stiffling heat. Wanted to go to the little farm market up the road to get cukes and tomatoes but just don't feel too good today. Was up at 6 this mornign for a while then went back to bed for a couple hours. Woke up ot feeling not that great and have a stuffy nose. Haven't been anywhere to pick up a cold so I don't know what it is. It's a lazy day - even the dog has slept all day. Rich made breakfast this morning and my tummy hasn't felt too good since. I'm sure it'll be gone by tomorrow. have a good rest of the afternoon and evening. Hugs, Wendy

Hi there. I'm so tired of this heat we are having. And it isn't even August yet. That is usually a hot month with no wind. But I'm not ready for the cold weather either. I'm more of a Fall and Spring time person. I hope you are having a good afternoon my friend. Just wanting to let you know I have a doctor's appoinment Friday morning, which is out of town and we will be leaving tomorrow afternoon to spend the night, so I won't be on here tomorrow or Friday. I get this thing done called hormone pellet therapy.I get this done every 3 months and I have to go to a specialist that is 4 hours away. I don't mind the drive, it gets us out of town. We usually go and see our oldest daughter and her two sons. But this time we won't be seeing her as she and the boys have moved to Utah. She is getting married and having another baby boy in late Septmeber. I'm hoping we will be able to go see them in early October. Hopefully the weather won't be bad and we can go. You can never tell. Good afternoon to you. I hope you are having a nice day. Its going to be another hot one here. Could get up to 102* here. I'm not liking this heat we are having. Its to hot for me. I went to a thrift store this morning looking for cooler tops to wear. I found a few t-shirts that weren't thick or black. Not much else going on just doing the laundry.
