Hello July! Had a busy day starting out putting the flage out along the driveway and around the house. Had to run to DG to pick up a pie shell for dessert for tomorrow nite as I'm cooking. Well it's the last day of June, Pam. Where did the time go? It just seemed we started this month and now it's over. We don't really have any plans except to have a cookout with our friends and her daughters. We'll go to the Moose tomorrow nite - one of the gals is making Hoppin John and cornbread and I'll find out then what she wants me to bring. I just went food shoopping today as there weere some BOGO and other things that were on sale - like crab legs and cherries They cook the crab legs right there and after I got everrything put away, I sat down and ate one with melted butter - so good but so much work!!! The flooring for the bathroom was installed today - yay!!! I love how it smells now we just have to wait for the shower to be worked on and then put in. That hopefully will be in two weeks. I have a big planter of impatients tht I forgot to water on my front porch that the all the rain we had in the last several days didn't reach so they are wilted. I watered them good and hope they can come back. iI got a big Mother's Tongue from a lady down the street when she moved that has tripeled in size and will have to stay in this house as it can't be moved so although it isn't a beautiful Bird of Paradise, it is a beautfiul plant. I'm hoping if I ever have to move, I can take all my spider plants and Christmas cactus with me. The big one will have to sit on the floor all by itself - that's the one that has only bloomed one time since I've had it.
Went to see my surgeon today and he said everythign looked good the x rays showed everything in alignment and healing good so I don't need to see him for a year. After that we went to a memorial at the post for a woman who was an auxillary memberand helped out with all the oyster roasts we had and other big dinners. She passed suddenly and was well liked. The turnout was big and there was a lot of food but not alot was good tasting ! but i don't have to cook - might have a snack later though. Glad you had the day off - does that mean you work Thurs and Fri Pam? If so hope they are good days. When is the replacement coming? Hope soon for your sake.
