it was a rainy day her but I had to go out to get a card and a gift for tomorrow nite's party for a friend It'll be held at the Moose and I don't know how many folks will be there but I heard he's ordering food for lots of people. The Thai food was really good last nite - wasn't spicy at all and was pretty good. I will go again. Rich and I and his brother and his wife went to the CPOA for drinks after as they didn't serve beer. I had nothing. He's at the VFW tnite - I stayed home as our friends are camping and this way he can go and have agood time by himeself. He should be home soon as they close at midnite. I hear lthis morning that DFW are was going to get some rough weather today - how did everything turn out? I hope your area was safe and sound. I'll have to watch the news tonite to see if anything like tornados happened. I wentto a cooking demo this morning that tught us about herbs and how to use, grow and store them. She made chicken salad using some and with grapes and yogurt - was good. Then we went to dinner to a Thai place and what I got there was pretty good too. I love flowers, especially the early ones. They attract the bees, and guarantee fertalization of our fruit & vegggie plants...They also give bees, and pollenators, well deserved meals.

Lisa send some of the sweetest things, doesn't she? The day was pretty nice here - no bad weather but we are expecting rain for a couple of days then nice for the weekend. Going out tomorrow with the group to a new Thai place in town. I've never had Thai so I have no idea what to order that I might like - don't do spicy. Went to the docs and all she did was re order meds and took my AIC. Rich went to a meeting and broought home some chicken pot pie that was served for dinner - it was ok but it wa dinner so I ate it.
