I had deep maroon sunflowers years ago that were so pretty and unusual - but I don't think I've seen white ones before. I used to pass a field of sunflowers on my way to work that sold for $1 a peice. I used to stop and get some on the way home at times. I don't do basketball - too boring for me just watching people run back and forth - same with golf - pushing a ball around for 18 holes - not for me and I used to watch the Phillies many years ago, but stopped that too. I only do football any more. Went to the doctor's for Rich today in Chesapeak - his pulmonologist - all is good but needs a cat scan as a pet scand didn't show anything - might be because it's too small a nodule which is a good thing. Then we went to Olive Garden for a late lunch early dinner. Both meals were good and he took some of his home and I got a shrimp appitizer to take home which I'll eat tomorrow for lunch. So that was my day. Hope you have a good Wednesday, Pam. Hugs, Wendy
Good afternoon to you my friend. Its a dirty and windy day here but at least its warm here and in the low 70's. Not much going on here today. Just busy doing the laundry as its a never ending chore. I hope you are having a good afternoon. Take care and many hugs from me to you. Cheryl
A strange thing about our family is that our youngest granddaughter, is younger than 6 of our 8 greats, and our oldest great, will turn 13 this September. It's getting hard to keep up with these little sprouts. I have to keep this stuff written down...LOL
GOOD MORNING, LOVE, HUGS & BLESSINGS, Ms. Pam, I pray YOU have a TREMENDOUSLY TASTY TUESDAY, and are having a TRANSFORMATIONAL WEEK, my friend...
I know how painful it is to lose a pet. This is our furry member of the family that we lost several years ago. We called her Buffy and got her when she was about 7 weeks old. She was almost 17 when we had to make the decision to put her down. I would love to have another dog, but they tie you down so much. Sue
It's almost 3 am Monday morning and I still need to take a shower and go to bed. Need to wait for Rich to finish his first, so I'm doing a few comments. Played dominoes and didn't get home till sometime after midnite then need to unwind before going to bed. Since it was my turn to cook, I made a new recipe a hamburger potato casserole that turned out pretty good. I put the mixed veggies in with it instead of doing them on the side. I had a ll the ingredients so why not? Made vanilla pudding with whipped cream and a cherry on top for desert. Everyone was pleased with the meal. Theree is noothing on the calendar for either of us tomorrow which is a good thing as I know I'll bee sleeping late again. Have a good start to the new week Pam. Hugs, Wendy
Actually, yes, we have a new Great-granddaughter, born either yesterday, or the day before. We don't know much, just yet, as Miranda, our granddaughter, lives in upper Michigan, and hasn't gotten home yet. Will let you know, when we know. And I'm usually here, sometime between 5 or 6 AM. Got the laundry done yesterday. Washed, dried, folded & put away...
GOOD MORNING, LOVE, HUGS & BLESSINGS, Ms. Pam, I pray YOU have a STIMULATINGLY SPLENDID SUNDAY, and have had a SUPREME WEEKEND, my friend...
