So, I quit being a Catholic, and started reading up on other religions, which, by the way, was against the Catholic rules. As a Catholic, you're not suppose to go to other religious places. Anyway, I read up on all of the major world religions, and found that all of the religious beliefs of the aboriginal peoples of the world, were almost exactly what I found to be the truth about The (Creator/ALL THAT IS/ The Great Mystery), what is commonly referred to as "GOD". And that in all of those beliefs, there are no (churches/temples/synagogues), or rules and regulations to be followed. And that (Magick/Magic), actually exists! And that all of my life I had been shown exactly that! Magic is real, and it plays a part of our lives, all the time, if we'd only take the time to pay attention to what we all accepted as real when we were children, and before we were taught that Magic is just imaginary...(to be continued)
I know magic is real, because I've used it, on a number of occasions, and know I did, because there is no other explanation for what happened. On one occasion, as I was walking home, in the rain, and wanted to make the rain stop, so I wouldn't get wet, I did just that, made it stop. Now, you will probably be thinking to yourself, "when he wished it to stop, it stopped, one time". Well, you'd be wrong! I did it 3-4 times, in a row, in a matter of about 5 minutes time. I wish it would stop. Surprised that it actually worked. So did it, again, and again, and again. Then convinced I was doing it, just let it rain, and continued walking on, without even thinking about what I had done. It wasn't until years later, that I actually even realised what had happened.
On another occasion, years earlier, I was sitting on the peak of our house, something my parents had no idea I was doing, I was about 6 years old, at the time, and wanted to watch the sunrise. So I looked out toward where the sun was, and watched it rise up over the Detroit River, and the city of downtown Detroit. Now that might not seem so extraordinary, to you, except that I lived many miles, inland, away from the area I was viewing, at the time, and without the use of magic to lift my body up above the house, a very good heighth, would never have been able achieve such a feat. This event, also, never even occured to me, until years later when I actually realized what had happened.
Those are just 2 events on which I used magic to achieve, what would otherwise prove to be impossible. There have been others...(to be continued)
No Mardi Gras parties around here - nice that you have one so close. Went for my dental cleaning at noon then came home and ate something. lol rRch went to a masonic meeting tonite and said they had chicken breasts, wings, potato salad and pudding. I ate the rest of the chuck roast and veggies - there wasn't alot left over but it was just right. Hope you got the last of your sweet tooth fix. I'm not much of a candy or cake eater. I just found out a friend from a long time ago from another social site has passed from a heart attack. I called her to see how she was and her husband told me. She lived in Idaho and we passed e mails back and forth for many years and made an occasional phone call. There were two other girls - one in Phila. and the other in Calif - now it's just the 3 of us who keep in touch. Have a good nite and stuff yourself silly with king cake! Hugs, Wendy
That penguin graphic really cracked me up. I nearly laughed out loud, which would have awakened my wife, so keep them coming...

GOOD MORNING, LOVE, HUGS & BLESSINGS, Ms. Pam, I pray YOU have a TREMENDOUSLY TASTY TUESDAY, and are having a THRILLING WEEK, my friend...
It was sunny but 64 here - nice enough that I only needed an overshirt to go out shopping today. The store had small ham steaks 5/$5 so I got two that were at one store then stopped at another store and they had plenty so I picked up 5 of them. Had one for dinner along with fresh green beans and tater tots. My son and his girlfriend sent me a birthday gift of a box that when you open it, out flew butterfles (plastic) and rosebuds. The 4 sides come down and there are pictures of my kids and gran and a small cake with a candle in the center. We ate the cake tonite. It was still good and small enough for just the two of us. I don't like chocolate so I got a small half. lol. Rich has a riding mulching mower and then goes back over it with a sweeper. I know he can't wait for the grass to grow again so he can get out there and now. Sleep sweetly. Hugs, Wendy
