I see where Texas is getting sme pretty rough weather lately and for the next several days. We just had a lot of rain and more is on the way Wednesday. Went to the dentist today and he sure did a number on my mouth - inside cheek and lip is tore up, tongue is swollen and still feels numb and my tonsil hurts too. Was taling with a friend today and she said she was making sauce and I said I'm com ing over - she said for both of us to come. Rich was down the street at the post so we met there. Had a nice dinner of meatballs and sausage, salad and bread and butter. Very good. I brought the spaghetti and lettuce for a salad. We were stuffed when we left. Have ortho appointment in the early am - 9 to be exact - way too early for me but he does all his new patience like that. Guess I'm gonna go to bed early which won't do me any good as I won't be able to get to sleep anyway.
I did not know that you could spell c-o-l-d in Texas (tee-hee). Yes we are very used to it up here. Pam. We had heavy snow this a.m. and now it's bright and sunny. Go figure.
Hi Pam - it's football day for us as dominoes has been cancelled. A last minute meeting was called where the auxillary president of the VFW, the commander and several others had to attend. Well it got cancelled and it was too late for me to start cooking as I put everything away. So next week I'll have to cook again. Had steaks and mashed potatoes instead and will make the soup maybe tomorrow. So we got to stay home and relax and watch football. The Eagles won and are going to the Super Bowl. Now watch the Chiefs, who are ahead, and the Bengals. Hope you had a nice quiet day too. Keep warm if it gets cold out there. Hugs, Wendy
Good afternoon my friend. I usally don't get on here on Sunday but I had time and my hubby is out drinking coffee and playing pool with the guys till who knows what time. Probably will be back home around 2:30 or so. Its a cold, 12* and feels like 0*. To cold for me. And its cloudy and have snow flurries. Its a stay inside kind of day to me. I hope you are having a good afternoon my friend and aren't doing to much. I'm just catching up on the laundry today. Well take care my friend and stay warm wherever you are. It was a good day for me Pam. Rich went to the post for a meeting and was on his way home when he got called back to the post over business. He left to come home to take me to the movies at the American Legion - they were showing the new Avatar movie. It was 3 hrs long but really good - no charge , only a donation and free popcorn was included. It was late by the time we got home as we needed to make a stop first, so we also stopped to get Chinese for dinner. Now watching the espisodes of Jack Ryan on Prime.
