Happy birthday - I haven't looked at the birthday list either - glad you said something. I had them all written down at one time but I got rid of the list. Woke up this morning feeling fine so I did alot house work - gather all the fall flowers I forgot to take up, waxed the table and chairs, cleaned the windows and put on a Christmas table scape. But would you believe I still have the fall wreath on the door and the small flag out front. I just can't get myself organized this year. I need to get the fall things upstairs and bring down the Christmas thing to start decorating a soon it won't be worth it. How was your Monday back at work? Hope it was a good day. Have a good rest of the week too. Hugs, Wendy
When our children were little enjoyed watching them believe in Santa Claus however we told them Jesus is the true meaning of Christmas.
Santa was based on a real character, Nicholas of Myra. He lived 280-344 A.D. He was wealthy and gave generously to the people who needed help. Saint Nicholas (Santa) believed in Jesus and fulfilled God's command to love others.
Today, Jesus is real and alive. Santa rides in a sleigh, but Jesus rides on the wind and walks on the water. Santa comes once a year, but Jesus is with us every day. Santa fills your stockings with goodies, but Jesus supplies all your needs. Santa comes down your chimney uninvited, but Jesus stands at your door and knocks, (Revelation 3:20).
Have strong faith, love in your heart and believe that Jesus is with you. Let the candle of hope burn inside you, because you are definitely blessed.
Sorry no posts yesterday but I was ill. My honey had his Masonic Lodgedinner last nite and I was so sick I couldn't even stay for dinner. It started earlier in the afternoon and I had to force myself to get dressed. All I did when I got there was hold my head and knew I couldn't eat so I went out to the truck and laid down. I slept til he came out when it was over - 1 1/2hrs. Slept alot today too but am feeling a bit better. Hope you had a good weekend. Supposed to rain tomorrow - no plans. Have a good start to the new week.
