Hey Pam - did you ever use the recipe I sent you on the pork chops you had for dinner? I never heard back from you. It was a lovely day here with temps at 76 Everything in the garden is dead except the rose bushes and the mums I bought really brighten up the space. All the dogs came over and two cages. One for the old dog and the other for the new puppy. The other two are no problem. We weren't watching and the puppy peed on the carpet so we are keeping a watchfull eye on her. We tried blocking off the kitchen but it was too much of a hassel for the humans and when I'm in the kitchen so are the dogs. Gee imagine that!!! It'll be a long 4 days but we'll get thru it. Well you'll only have 2 days left to work then you'll be home. How long are you going to be working, Pam? I forgot if you told me. Well have a good day at work Thursday. Hugs, Wendy

Hi there my dear friend. I hope you are having a nice afternoon. It started off a cool morning in the 30s and has warmed up into the 60s. So its a nice day. Went shopping at Walmart this morning, got a few things we needed. Not much else going on, took a nap while the clothes were in the washer. The wind has been blowing these past days so loads of fall leaves are on the ground. Once more is it raking time to pile those leaves and throw oneself onto the pile. Such fun ! Ha Ha
Instead of coffee this morning I have decided to have spot of tea. I am trying for the first time from YOGI tea's an elderberry lemon balm immune & stress blend of tea, as we are at 33 F at the moment, to make my day abit special. May you have a glorious day enjoying your fall day. Smiles Gloria

I saw where Texas got rain and saw where it hit the Dallas area too. It rained a little bit here but not much. It's in the 60's - still nice - no jackets needed. Went for x rays of my hips so the doc could have them for my appointment on Thursday. Didn't cook for our domino game last nite - picked up a pizza - too bad if they are on WW - they blew it over the weekend when they went to Hallow Scream at Bush Gardens and we are watching their dogs Thursday thru the weekend when they go to Ashville for the Souther Conference for the VFW. They'll drink themselves silly for 3 days plus eat. They got another dog since the last time and it's a puppy and not housetrained, so it's gonna stay in it's cage and we'll take her outside every so often. I can't believe they got a new puppy knowing that we were gonna watch their dogs! They could have waited another 2 weeks till they got home. Don't you think? And yes the dog would still be available. Stopped at the butcher's and got pork chops on sale - 6 nice thick ones and I found a new recipe for baked chops - they were so darn good and not over cooked. Made peas and baked sweet potatoes.
