I'm still playing with my new toy.  Darned if I can figure out to get what I want on it (text to speech).  I think I'm going to either have to phone 'em or connect via 'chat'.

Did I tell you I finally connected with a friend from university?  She moved and I lost her addy and email ('cos they changed it).  She's married to a United Church Minister so I tried all the UC connections I could find.  Finally a nice gal from archives gave a connect to an obituary page for my friend's mother.  We got together via email.  Yeah!

Good afternoon my friend. I hope you are doing good. I'm kind of tired. I did take a nap but it must be the heat and the humidity that is making me tired. Its 90* and feels like 91*. It was in the 70's when I left to go to Walmart this morning. It felt good but didn't stay there for long. I need to do some dusting but I think I will do it tomorrow morning. Just don't have the want to do it today. Are you ready for Fall? I know I am. We had a few days last week that felt like Fall, of course the hubby thought it was cold. lol Well take care my friend and enjoy the rest of your day. Hugs, Cheryl

That grass was really high Pam.  Rich never lets his grass get that high - nor does anyone else around here.  They are all out mowing every couple/3 days.  I dusted really good today and am still not finished.  I also went thru a pile on my dresser and found some important papers that I might need in the future.  I made chicken stew for dinner - it takes a lot of chopping then it has to simmer till everything is done and tender but it's so good.  Have enough left over for lunch for the both of us.  Watched  the new Stallon movie - it was different but good.  Having some popcorn for a nite time snack - besides ice cream, which I haven't had in a long time, it's my favorite evening dessert.  I did make a peach cobbler for dessert yesterday and still have half of it left, but we'll have that tomorrow.  Probably will make pork chops for dinner tomorrow.  Sleep well Pam and hope you get rain!  Hugs, Wendy

No one around these neck of the woods let their grass grow that high.  Think Rich mows like at leat every 3rd day if it doesn't rain.  Think the mower is set for 3".  Did the dusting - a really good cleaning and becuase of that, I haven't quite finished but I'll rest up tomorrow

Should have gone to the store to get a few things, but was too lazy to go out so I found a recipe  for tomorrow nite with stuff I have on hand and I don't even care if it's that good or not - we'll find out.  Need to stop and get some diet 7 Up if we want to have a drink and pick up a dessert if I don't make a peach cobbler which I just might.  Did a bit of vacuuming and watched the hummers play.  My gran is always busy working two jobs so I don't facetime her but do keep in touch every so often.  Haven't danced myself in many years and probbly couldn't even if I tried.  Watching some football but feel like I could go to bed - I'm tired.  Have yourself a grand rest of the nite.  Hugs, Wendy
