Afternoon Pam - love the pics of the chickens floating in a floatie in the pool - so cute. Geez, that is one big boy you have for a grandson. Sorry no clothes in that size. My son is 6'1" but I don't think he even wears hat size. I've been taking all the dead ends from my spider plants - the leavess are getting shorter and shorter!! then swept the floor - decided to take all the plants off the tables and polish them. also cleaned all the windows as there was an abundance of flies in the kitchen - think I got them all than had to sweep the floor again and clean all the windows. That was enough work for me. Am now sitting and resting till it's time to go to the American Legion for tacos tonite - yum - hope they are good, weved never had them before there. And that was my day. Hope yours wass more exciting!!! Hugs, Wendy
What did I get excited about? Got all my new pants adjusted. Just came back today. After 2 years of covid I put on too many lbs and now have to reorganize my wardrobe.
Check out the fairies at the bottom of your garden. Hugs, Anne
Since I'm a late riser, evening is my favorite time of day. I used to take pictures of clouds then stopped but still love the sunsets. I do get a kick out of the hummers and will be said to see them leave - they'll only be around here for about another month for so. I guess you'll see them a lot later than that as they don't have that far to go to Mexico. Hardly did anything today and honey took me out to an early dinner at Panera Bread. Talked with antoher couple for at least 1/2 cause we found out we had so much in common - they guys were in the Navy and at the same places but at different times. We just clicked!
New toy is an Amazon "Fire" tablet, Pam. I bought it so that I might get some audible books thru Kindle. I have an old Kindle but I think it's on its way out. All my data on my Kindle was automatically transferred to the new unit. Big Brother at it still..
Glad you liked the photos. Who'd have thought we could get pix like that 40 years ago? You must take a number of pix too. I also like clouds. Love to watch the sundowns in the evening. Not doing too much otherwise. Hope your day is going well.
The sun was out and it reached 85 - I was out pulling a few weeds around the rose bush as the ground was still soft after the rain the other day. I should have spent more time doing it but I need to get down on my knees to do it and since I had yellow pants on, I didn't want to take a chance I'd get muddy. Vacuumed and straightened up and that was it. since I did so much (lol) I didn't feel like cooking, so I made a crockpot dinner of chicken and stuffing. Only needed a veggie and dinner was on the table. Seems to me the weeking is going by slowly, but I guess that's a good thing beings that I am old!
HOW NICE YOU GOT THAT RAIN PAM, COULD DO WITH A LOT OF IT UP HERE ON THE WEST COASTOF CANADA. USUALLY A RAIN FILLED SPRING AND SUMMER BUT NOT THIS YEAR. SCARY REALLY. ENJOY YOUR DAY. HUGS, MOE
Not doing much this afternoon. Went shopping this morning, then came home put things away and started the laundry and took a nap. Got the laundry in the dryer now and that is about all I have done. Its a nice pretty afternoon. Its 88* but it doesn't feel that bad. I need to sweep and mop but I think I will wait until tomorrow and do that. Feeling lazy. Well take care my friend and enjoy the rest of your day. Hugs, Cheryl
Good afternoon Pam we got rain here yesterday too and also overnight and we still have more coming some areas here got 2-3" of rain yesterday and so far it hasn't rained today but they are calling for it sometime this afternoon/evening. Blessings & Hugs Robert & Ceil
There are just some things we can’t fix; we can’t change; we can’t manage. But we sure do try, don’t we?! We wrestle against our situations when God wants us to rest in Him. Rest is what you experience when you stop trying to fix your problem and fix your eyes on God instead.
Oh, Lord, that is what we need. Help us to fix our eyes on You and trust You to fix any problem we face. May Your will be done on earth, in our lives, as it is in heaven
I heard the Dallas-fort Worth area got rain - a lot of rain in fact. Did you get any Pam? I sure hope so. We got a bad thunderstorm yesterday on our way to ply dominoes and again while we were there, so we are not hurting for rain. S[eaking of hurting, I'm hurting a bit as I made ham fettuccine for dinner tonite with brocolli and I shouldn't hve taken as much as I did. But it was good and different. Found the recipe in the book I got from the library. There are several more I want to try, but we'll see. I watched House of Dragons today it was recorded last nite while we were away. It seems interesting and I'll watch no matter what as I love dragons!. Have a good rest of the evening and take care.
HAPPY TO HEAR YOU GOT SOME RAIN, GREAT. I NEED SOME UP HERE IF YOU GET TOO MUCH. YOU LOOK GREAT PAM , SO DOES YOUR HUBBY. TAKE CARE AND HAVE A GREAT NEW WEEK. SORRY I WAS GONE FOR SOME DAYS, HUGS, MOE
Good afternoon my friend. I hope you are having a good one.Its a nice day here. No rain, but cooler weather. We are at 82 right now. Doesn't feel to bad when you aren't in the sun. Just thought I would pop in and say Hi. Enjoy the rest of you day and take care. Hugs, Cheryl
Great photo of you both. Sounds like you had a good birthday party at the restaurant.
This is us now and likely to continue for the rest of the day.
I found some old photos on my very first iPad that I got in 2009. (It was the first one to reach Canada at that time) I used to take a lot of macro photos so I though I'd share some with you.
The bee was busy on the Cosmos which is one of my favourite flowers. Enjoy your Monday. Hugs, Anne
Love your picture. Thanks for sharing I have save it. Yes my weekend was good. Went to a campground to hear my band but boy did it rain on the way there.
