My this week is flying by as I am enjoying my moments doing this and that during these summer days. Hope your days are being ever so nice to you as you do your daily duties. Another cool day bring fall into my mind . Found the other day pumpkin jam. Now that sounds interesting for I so do like apple butter jam. Just might give it a try. In the mean time I do believe I need to fill up my coffee cup with some toasted coconut flavored coffee . Smiles Gloria

Well I sure hope you are staying inside most of the day Pam, with temps of 100 +. I was inside all day except for a few minutes this afternoon checking the garden and pulled a few weeds. Filled the humming bird feeders too. Other than that, I spent hours on the phone trying to secure a vacation place for my neice for November. Am waiting for her to get back to me but it seems like it won't be tonite. Hope you have a good nite Pam and a better day tomorrow.
The lawn had its hair cut yesterday and for today is laundry and dusting day.
We are at 62 for the temp this morning and just might get to 70. Loving these cooler days while it lasts. Have a glorious day what ever you plan to do. For me my plan is to get my household duties done and then sit back and have another cup of one of many favorite flavored coffees I enjoy, while finding another piece to the puzzle. Smiles Gloria

The rain we got this afternoon only made things more humid and steamy than before, but at least everyting otuside got a drink. I hadn't eaten all day so when I got home I ate a couple peices of pizza that were left over from the other nite. When Rich got home from the VFW, he said "one piece of pizza?" Told him there were leftovers from last nite if he wanted that instead. Not much irks me as much as someone being so ungrateful as not to say thank you when dinner is fixed for them. So deal with whatever you can find. Not alot going on in this neck of the woods - got to jump in the shower in a few so have a good rest of the evening and nite. Hugs, Wendy

I just started this nice summer bird puzzle today as the rain is coming down off and on this morning. We are at 67 for the temp at the moment. Now where is my coffee cup? Nice to have coffee to sip on as one finds pieces to the puzzle. I do believe this will be a nice lazy day doing this and that. Hope your Tuesday is being nice to you. May you have a glorious week. I LOVE all 3! I was told, at the ripe old age of 7 years old, that I had perfect pitch, and was about the youngest person in that school,s history to be given an instument to practice, a Coranet. Later a Baratone, and then a French Horn. Never had the patience, then, to stick with any of them and learn them well. However, I could sing to match ANY voice I had heard, including the Soprano part in "The Lion Sleeps Tonight". Was 95 today and might get rain after midnite but who knows for sure. I never played a musical instrumetn, but took voice lessons and used to sing opera when I was in high school I never followed it up though , but always loved to sing - you're right - the oldies are the best. Went to canteen every Friday nite held at the local fire station - never could do the mashed potatoes though - and to any of the school dances. Ran to WalMart to get my $40 refund then to Dollar Tree - haven't been there sincne before they raised the prices to $1.25. Got a much needed toilet brush for the hall bath - no one ever uses it but it still needs to be cleaned. Got just a few cards and one or two other things. Didn't seem that hot as all I did was run from the car tothe stores and back again. Guess I'll need to water the plants tomorrow unless we get some rain - due after midnite but who knows for sure. Hello there my friend. I hope you had a good weekend. I didn't do much. It was hot. Helped hubby last night trim some of our trees. Well he trimmed then I hauled some off to the dumpster.
