Good morning, that harvest moon over the weekend was breathtaking! More rain for us this weekend. hoping to dry out soon and have more Fallish weather.
Well the weekend is coming to an end. Hope it was an enjoyable one for you. Mine was short, had to work yesterday, so needless to say I didn't get much accomplished. Wishing you a good night full of sweet dreams, and a wonderful week~~ hugs, debijo
HI PAM, HAD THE MOST BEAUTIFUL HARVEST MOON THE OTHER NIGHT, WAS SO ORANGE AND HUGE. MY CAMERA WAS NOT AT HAND HOPEFU;;U TJERE WO;; BE ANOTHER ONE SOON. ENJOY YOUR DAY PAM. HUGS, MOE
Watched a lot of the memorial for the 9-11 - still sad after 21 year. Have been on the beah watching the moon rise over the water - never a more beautiful sight!!Have on some red, white and blue......went out to see the motorcade of cycles going to the VFW for the memorial service, but was a minute too late. Rich went to the post for the services there but I didn't want to go. It's been raining herre and the tv has been going in and out. Hope you've had a good Sunday so far, Pam.
What you just described was a perfect example of the song, "Somewhere Out There", from the movie, "An American Tail". If you're not familiar with it, you ought to try listening to it, or even watching the movie, BOTH are very BEAUTIFUL. BUT, not nearly as beautiful as the moonrise I've witnessed...Back in the day, on The Detroit River, The Boblo Boats used to have what was known as A Midnight Cruise. I happened to be on one of those cruises, on a night when a full moon would be rising. The night was totally clear, and we were sailing directly into the moonrise. I watched it come up, out of the river, blood red, and then change colors from that to orange, then yellow, and finally bright white. It was magnificent, and something that will live in my memory, forever...
GOOD MORNING, LOVE, HUGS & BLESSINGS, Ms. Pam, I pray YOU have a SENSATIONALLY SPLENDID SUNDAY, and have had a SALUTIFEROUS WEEKEND, my friend...
Like I said before I love looking at the moon - all phases of it. And yes, I know that whoever, wherever they are , we all see the same moon. It's a wonderous sight. Got a call from Richie's brother asking us to go to lunch with him and his wife. After we ate, (took alot of mine home) we went to the post for a drink - I didn't have one. Afterr a while I started making dinner - stuffed peppers. Haven't made them in many years and they turned out pretty good. It was an old recipe I used from those days. Watching the HBO Saturday nite movie and having a peice of pumpkin cake that I made on Mon.. Still good - it was a 2 ingrediet cake but I added 2 eggs do it as I was afraid it would be dry and added cream cees frosting - I think it turned out really good. Hope you have a good rest of the weekend. Hugs, Wendy
Hi there and good afternoon to you. I have gotten all my housework done and now I can relax. Its a warm afternoon here again in the 90's. We have a cool front coming in tonight that will cool us down for Saturday and Sunday and will give us a chance for some much needed rain. I'm ready for it to cool off not for just a couple of days but like Fall is going to be. Well have a nice afternoon my friend and enjoy your weekend and take care. Hugs, Cheryl
I was born just before the outbreak of WW11 into a poor family, Pam. Horses did not fall into my purview 'til much later. I once, on a holiday trip, tried to ride a horse but it knew I was a tenderfoot and just kept eating grass
