Used to play the cello when I was young, Pam. Also tried the guitar and autoharp. Had a nice extended electronic keyboard and took some lessons. Now, mostly listen to classical music. Love opera. How about you? Any favourites? (((XXX))
Music Monday! Do you like music? Do you listen to it? Do you dance?
I love Oldies and older Country music and we listen to SiriusXM quite a bit. My girls both like Choir in school. We used to dance all the time but since Hubby's hip surgeries we do not go dancing anymore.
But music will always be one of the keys to my heart. Even though I can't really sing, remember the words or play an instrument. What do you play?
I have videos from when my granddaughters were very young playing all sorts of instruments, horns, drums, etc. Actually, Michelle is now taking virtual guitar lessons from Mexico every week.
Now, if I can just keep my plants alive, I will be happy. I need to turn on the music outside and water them. Monday Blessings to you!
Didn't know Proust had it in him! Yes, I was an avid gardener, Pam, used to walk around and talk to all my plants. Now I just have my air plants (but I still talk to them).

Had a slow and lazy weekend so now I'm going to catch up on more snoozes.
Such a pretty lily in my flower garden. Puts a smile on my face seeing all the lilies in the flower bed of many colors that was planted last fall. My goodness saying the world fall we will be heading into August soon. Really to tell you the truth I am looking forward the fall days. Hope we are blessed with a long colorful fall season. Ha, Ha, I am even wearing today a brown outfit and have a fall amber orange sweater on for it is 57 for the temp at the moment this morning. Loving these cooler days. In the mean time I'am sipping on a nice cup of coffee. Have a Glorious Life doing this and that and I will do the same. Smiles Gloria

The power was out for a couple hours yesterday, no cooler, fans, internet, or TV (sigh) I decided to take a trip to Walmart and spend some time looking aound where it was cooler. No plans for today - just relaxing after staying out till mdnite last nite. Did a few things around the house - too much in one day so am hurting. But resting now after dinner and cleaning up. Made sauteed cabage and a little ham along with tomato salad. Had a nice steak with corn on the cob and fresh green beans last nite - then met friends at the Moose till midnite - even did a little slow dancing. We also listen to the 50's and 60's on the radio when we are out and about. Nothing like the music back in those days - at least you could understand the words. A beautiful day to you. Just had to share this picture of the bachelor button plants. I use to have them many years back in the flower gardens. A dear friend gave me some seeds to plant this summer. Looking forward to seeing them once again in the flower garden. Wonder if there is a poem for the bachelor buttons for they are such a smilie flower . Think I will look into that thought. Hello Pam we've had temps in the mid to upper 90's for the past 5 days and were going to have these temps until Monday so that will be a tatal of 7 days with the high temps.Ceil went to the Farmers market to get a few things yesterday and she came home /w reg.cuccumbers,pickling cuccumbers,potatoes,a couple Zukes,& fresh dill and all of that was $24so when it cools off on monday we'll start our canning wwe're going to can dill pickles and next month we're going to go get what we need to can salsa & hot peppers.
