Howdy lady - how 'd your day go? I see you haven't still gotten any rain. We remained dry today also. Very pleasant day but the days are getting shorter. Think the hummerss were waiting for me to give them fresh /more food b/c as soon as i put up fresh they were swarming around! Went food shoping and spent $99.93 - had a $100 with me so that worked out just right. Dinner went well at dominoes last nite and everyone liked the baked spaghetti and apple pie. Stopped to get vanilla ice cream as I know the other guy would have kiddingly said something but really would have meant it. So now I have most of a half galleon of vanilla ice cream left. Guess I could make myelf a chocolate Sundae, huh? Bet you could use some ice cream with the weather you've been having!. Have a great Tuesday and sleep well. Good afternoon my friend. Its a hot afternoon here. Its 99* and breezy but we have several chances for rain this week. And cooler temperatures. I look forward to that. Won't be on here tomorrow as we have to go to Amarillo, Texas (which is a 3 hour drive one way) to my husbands diabetic doctor appointment. So that will take all day. I had a busy morning so just now getting around to visiting with everyone. Not much going on this afternoon, but I did get a much needed nap in. Tulips is my favorite flower. On my birthday last May 7th , I received tulips through special delivery from abroad. One of my suitor sent it and he really makes my day. :)

There are fluffy white clouds in a blue sky and the temp is a lovely 81. I've been making baked spaghetti for the last coupe of hours. Never made it before and any new reipe takes me a long time as I have to keep referring to the recipe. It's almost finished baking....hope it turns out good. The apple pie is on the counter getting to room temp and I know he'll want vanilla ice cream on his, so I'll have to stop at the store to get that an texas toast. Can you tell I haven't been shopping in a while? Need to go find something to eat as we won't be having dinner till 6 or 6:30. Hope you havea lovely day, Pam.

It was a nice 85 degrees today with lots of nice sunshine. No rain, so I must get out and water the plants tomorrow. Made an apple pie for dessert for tomorrow, as I'm cooking. Now all I have to do is make the ziti so it won't be such a stresfull day. I used some apples that I froze months agao and some fresh.. Wish I could taste it beforehand so I can buy something else! I also need to make more food for the birds as I put the lat of what I had in the one feeder. Have a great rest of the weekend, Pam

Woke up this morning just fine, then got so tired a while later that I ended up going back to bed for a nap. The high was only 76 and we had another thunderstorm this afternoon. This just mght be the end of our summer as it's gonna be in the low 80's for the rest ofthe week. Going out this evening with friends at the Moose - just need to make dinner first as they don't serve food there like at the VFW. Schoold haven't started here yet - at least I haven't seen any school buses around here or out on the road but they should start soon - usually around the end of the month. Have a good weekend Pam. Good afternoon to you. Hope it is a nice one for you. I have noticed the days are getting shorter and the nights here are cooler. We sleep with the windows open at night and oh do I enjoy the fresh air. Not much going on here. My husband was here for dinner or some people call it lunch. Was nice to see him even though he came to get the tires that came by FedEx. :) I have all of my housework done. Do need to vaccumm so I will get that done soon.
