Saturday went to see a band and fire works hard to get home with all than people who go out on those days. Sunday went too. But today will stay home with my son. Happy safe 4th of July.

Has been a quiet but busy day for me. Honey got breakfast burritos from Sonic and they were really good. I started making pasta salad for the bbq at the post tomorrow and made a mess of it so I could take some to a frend's party later in the afternoon. It turned out real good too. Been stirring it all afternoon then I'll split it in half. We finally got rain - a thunderstorm - and it rained real good. We needed it as our weather has been hot and dry all week. So now everything has had a good drink. Have you had any fireworks in your area yet? Ours were Friday nite and I didn't even know it. Rich went to the post at 6:30 anyway but was home early but still too late to watch them as they were over at 9:30. Guess they had them early for the out of towners so they could get back home to work on Tues. morning. Hope you've had a good weekend so far. Have a good 4th, enjoy, relax and be safe. Hugs, Wendy
The 4th of July buttterfly sure is a pretty one, Pam. We got home around 12:30 today - was a short trip from Williamsburg to his daughter's house to pick up LuLu then an hour late we were home. Nice to be home and back to the ole routine. Got up at 6:30 again to have the breakfast then I took a short nap after before we had to check out at 11. Do you have any plans for the holiday? We are going to the post and I'm makeing asta salad. I didn't want to go but Rich told the woman we'll be there and volunteered me to make something. I wanted to go to a friend's party but that would mean making another dish to bring there. Would have to be something that could sit in the care while we were at the post. Guess I'll figure out something. My hanging petunia died while away for just the 3 days everything else was fine. They were such a pretty purple too.
