We hit a cool day today - it was 89 but still hot if you staayed out too long. I thouhgt it was still a nice day as there was a good breeze blowing . I had a good time watching th hummers eating and chasing each other. The were looking for their old feeder - that's where I hung the chimes - funny seeing that. They'll have to get used to it in a new spot on the porch. I had a lot of potatoes that needed to be used so I thought why not potato soup? Who cares what the tempp is outside, it's a cool 74 in here and honey loves soup any time of the year I have to say it sure turned out good - both of us had two bowls! Hope you friends had a safe trip home, it's always hard to say good bye to friends and loved ones but like you say, they will visit again. Did you know there were almost 14 hours of daylight today? That's a long time to have some fun! Hugs, Wendy

GOOD MORNING, LOVE, HUGS & BLESSINGS, Ms. Pam, I pray YOU have a SPECTACULARLY SENSATIONAL SATURDAY, and are having a SPENDIFOROUS WEEKEND, my friend...
Just enjoy this very good Friday but rest a bit so you will have energy to really Have a very enjoyable Saturday and Sunday with family and friends. Hugs, Nancy
Glad you got to spend more time with your friends, Pam. Was wondering where she lives as she is spending time with you to do testes. I've done a lot of housework today - in fact a load of laundry awaits for me to fold them from the dryer. Then I swept the floor and cleaned out the pantry from old item to things that are still good to friend of my SIL and some to the neighbors down the street. So I'm relaxing now till my second wind comes along. Rich mowed the lawn in this heat and humidity and I only piced a few weeds from the garden. Thought it was gonna rain as we had dark clouds and thunder but it didn't happen. Have a good rest of the afternoon. Hugs, Weendy
I hope you realize that every day is a fresh start for you. That every sunrise is a new chapter in your life waiting to be written. If we are ever to enjoy life, now is the time – not tomorrow, nor next year, nor in some future life after we have died. The best preparation for a better life next year is a full, complete, harmonious, joyous life this year. Our beliefs in a rich future life are of little importance unless we coin them into a rich present life. Today should always be our most wonderful day
How lucky you are to have such a long friendship with your friends, Pam. I have two girlfriends who I have been friends with since grade school days. Oh, before I forget, we just finished with another thunderstorm. It teamed in Elizabeth City where we were. Jut finished having dinner with our group and 4 of us decided to go to the post when it came down. It wasn't too bad when we got home but I had to scurry into the house to keep from getting soaked - an it was only a few steps! Finally got a pedicure today - it's been probably 2 months since my last one. It always feels good to have your feet done, to have them soaked in warm water while sitting in a massage chair. I should do it more often but as everything else, it's $45 plus a tip - have to say I get waxed too so guess it's not too terrible. Gonna go see what else is happening on The Hill. Have a good nite. Wendy
Hi there and I hope you are having a good day. I have been having a busy one as I have packed our bags for a weekend trip to Oklahoma City to see our oldest daughter and her two sons. I always look forward to seeing them. They will start school on the 15th of this month. They are growing up to fast. They are age 7 and 4. So I won't be on here tomorrow but I will wish you a nice weekend and see you back on here on Monday. I went and did some shopping a little while ago. Got me a new pink shirt and got it in the washer so I can wear it in the morning when we leave to go to Oklahoma City. Its a 4 hour drive there but it doesn't seem like it takes that long anymore. Well take care my friend and enjoy the rest of your day. Hugs, Cheryl
