Good afternoon my friend. Its a warm afternoon here. It says its 82 and feels like 84. Its partly cloudy and breezy. I feel warm in the house but got fans running so it shouldn't feel to bad. But I still have my cold but its a lot better.I got a good nights sleep last night. I took some cough syrup and boy did that help. At least my throat doesn't hurt when I swallow so I'm thinking I should be over this cold soon. And I'm happy about that. We have a chance for rain tonight and my plants that I planted in pots are looking good. Just need to grow a lot more. Well take care my friend and enjoy your afternoon. Hugs, Cheryl

What a perfect day we had today - 81, no humidity like we had for the last two days. Still no rain and hurricane season has just started. I had a perfect day today too. It started off with going to pick up my antique clock after it was finnished being repared, then went out to breakfast. Was stuffed after - then went to the American Legion for a shrmp dinner - stuffed again!! No cooking is a perfect day for me. We'll probably have some pepperoni, cheese and crackers later to snack on if we get pickish. We also have an upright freezer in the garage that is full of goodies. Pam, I sent a couple things to fategrandma but was returned. Do you still want me to send it to '2' still? Just gonn veg out for the rest of the evening and watch some movies on tv. Enjoy your time. Boy were ever a hot moomma girl!!! But days gone by. We got the new fridge and they came without any call as they didn't have a number to call. We sure hussled to get everything out so they could move it to the garage and put the new one in place. I love it already!! Threw so much stuff away so the new one is empty looking compared to the old one. Now we have a big fridge in the garage to store things in. It does need a good cleaning though. I swear you don't see the dirt untill it's empty!! Only worked in the garden for a few minutes today even though it was cooler but felt just as hot and I didn't want to get overheated like I did yesterday. Didn't go to the post tonite - but Rich did - I'm sure he'll have a nice night without me!! We are going out to a shrimp dinner at the American Legion tomorrow nite - friends will be there and his brother. Sunday will be dominos, so the weekend goes. Do you have any plans? Hi there. Its another cloudy and cool day here. One of these days it will decide to warm up and I really don't want that. I like the mid 70's like it is today. But summer is coming and that means hot weather. I hope you are enjoying your day and have a fun weekend. I will just be taking it easy and hopefully this cold will go away. Had my last day of PT today - yipee! Came home and started getting my plants in the ground and it was too hot - only got 2 plants done and some weeding. Could hardly make it in the house. Laid down then after a while when I calmed down I got a shower and washed my hair. Felt so much better but still feel drained and no strength. The FRA installation dinner last nite went good. Honey was the president but the vice was absent cause he just had hip surgery. There was friedn chcken, baked beans, cole salw, potato salad and sweet and regular iced teas plus desserts. We brought a little bit of everything home, as did everyone else. We had it tonite and might have it another nite as there was a little left - who knows. Hi there my friends.I'm slowly getting better. My throat is still sore but I have been gargling with salt water everyday and that is helping. Today is the first day I have ached all day which is a plus. Its a cloudy and cool day here today. We have a chance for rain tonight. My cucmber seeds have come up and are doing good.
