Hi there. Its a hot and sticky afternoon here. Got my fans circulating the cool air from the air conditioner. Its 90 here and we have a chance for rain later tonight. Hopefully it won't be noisy or I won't be able to sleep.Not much else going on. I went grocery shopping this morning and was tired when I got home. When I got home I put up my groceries,then took a nap. I just have a cough left on my cold. That is never ending.Well take care my friend, hugs Cheryl
Afterrnoon Pam - Well I woke up, washed, got dressed and went for my labs this morning. Did it all with just a swallow of water!! So I had no pee in me - I was peeless!!! Stopped at Hardees on the way back to pick up two sausage gravy and biscuits for Rich and I to eat for breakfast, then went out to water the plants - actually I fed them and found that one of the lilly plants had bloomed - pale orange. I looked around and mostly everything I have blooming is yellow except for the two pink rose bushes. The one is a knock out rose and it is now over grown and will need to be cut back. I guess I do that after it finishes blooming, right? I put a load of whites in the washers and changed and cleaned all the hummer bottles and put new food in there for them. Now more is needed. Going to the men's VFW meeting tonite - think it might be a long house committee meeting before hand as they are bringing up the "stop smoking" subject - yet again. Should be interesting. It's still nice here - no humidity - 79. Be carful out in the sun, Pam. Don't be like me and have heat exhaustion. We aren't as young as we used to be! Have a fun day. Hugs, Wendy
Well, another weekend has come and gone. I don't know where the time went, doesn't seem like I got anything done and didn't even make it here on the hill. At least I didn't have to work today so maybe I can get a few things done. Anyway, just wanted to wish you a Happy Monday... Hope you enjoy your day and have a wonderful week. debijo
I only use one pair of sunglasses and they are bifocals. One other pair I have are John Lennon style.
Going out on the town tomorrow. A friend is picking us up. We'll eat in a "restaurant" for the first time in two years. It may rain but at least we'll be out.
These are some of my favorite sunset pictures that I've taken in Florida. I'm not sure I can decide what my favorite is. I love to see the sunrise and the beginning of a new day. I definitely like the morning sun best; but I also love the beauty of sunrises. I guess we just have to be thankful for both. Sue
I only have one pair of sunglasses as I broke the other pair. I sat on them as I left them in the truck on the seat and when I got back in (it was dark) . Rich likes to keep the inside lights off inside his truck and I forgot I left them on the seat. I never get up early enough to see the sun rise, but it can't be as beautiful as all the colors of the sky as when the sun sets and I see that all the time and take pictures of it. Thiink I sent you one of them just a few days ago, unless that was one of the returned mail I got. Didn't have to cook Friday as Rich went tothe post, Sat. we had the shrimp dinner at the American Legion and tonite wasn't my turn to cook while playiing dominos. Tomorrow is the men's meeting at the VFW and they have food there so it looks like I'll cook onn Tuesday. But I made a nice breakfast this morning so that counts! Have a good Monday morning. Good afternoon my friend. Its a warm afternoon here. It says its 82 and feels like 84. Its partly cloudy and breezy. I feel warm in the house but got fans running so it shouldn't feel to bad. But I still have my cold but its a lot better.I got a good nights sleep last night. I took some cough syrup and boy did that help. At least my throat doesn't hurt when I swallow so I'm thinking I should be over this cold soon. And I'm happy about that. We have a chance for rain tonight and my plants that I planted in pots are looking good. Just need to grow a lot more. Well take care my friend and enjoy your afternoon. Hugs, Cheryl

What a perfect day we had today - 81, no humidity like we had for the last two days. Still no rain and hurricane season has just started. I had a perfect day today too. It started off with going to pick up my antique clock after it was finnished being repared, then went out to breakfast. Was stuffed after - then went to the American Legion for a shrmp dinner - stuffed again!! No cooking is a perfect day for me. We'll probably have some pepperoni, cheese and crackers later to snack on if we get pickish. We also have an upright freezer in the garage that is full of goodies. Pam, I sent a couple things to fategrandma but was returned. Do you still want me to send it to '2' still? Just gonn veg out for the rest of the evening and watch some movies on tv. Enjoy your time.
