Hello Pam, hope your weekend was good. We have thunderstorms moving through and bringing some needed rain. It's pretty steamy right now with so much moisture present on a warm day. You are having winds in TX. While in Missouri on our trip I experienced those straight line winds for the first time. We don't get them here in FL but they had 40 mps winds all day on Friday and there were advisories issues. Needless to say it made things interesting for all the out door Grad ceremonies that day. Chairs were blowing around everywhere. My son lived in Fort Worth for years and so he had to explain to me about the wind. lol. He was very familiar with it having lived there. I'm used to wind from Tropical storms and hurricanes but that's about it. Have a good new week, friend.
Was not as hot as yesterday - only 87 instead of 97. Got some weeding out front done and was too wore out to plant the flowers that we bought on our way to Chesapeake, Va. to look at friggies at Home Depot. Came back here to Lowes and found one comparable. We can have SIL's discount to get it. Ours is ok but it's 23 y.o. Will put it in the garage - we need an extra fridge anyway. This will be a 3 French door but not the one I really wanted. Rich is so cheap - the house is going to his daughter and he thinks she is gonna live here, so he should get the best for her, right? Made London broil, baked taters and fresh carrots for dinner - can you say yum?? Hope you had a relaxing Sunday and aa good weekend. Sleep well. Hugs, Wendy

Its a beautiful cool Friday here. A cold front came in this morning and its only going to be in the low 70's here. And tomorrow only in the 50's. Hoping for some rain which we need.
