Hi ya Pam - We ony had a few sprinkles today but the ditches still have lots of water in them. We went to a bbq lunch at the senior center - took home two big bags of popped corn and we gave one to our neighbor who has two children and we kept one. Went to a consignment shop to loo around but nothing jumped out at us so we left and went to pick up some fruits and veggies. Got a box for our neighbors too as they wanted to get rid of them. Had white and sweet potatoes, cabbage and onions in them. Then we came home and went to dinner with our Thursday nite group. It's a nice thing sitting down as my hip is starting to bother me again and I don't get till the 5th and my PT starts on the 6th - gee that should be fun. I see you are using the graphic I sent - I think the lady in yellow was a cuttie! Glad you liked her well enough to put her on your page. Have a great Friday, Pam. Hugs Wendy
We survived the early morning storms. After an inch of rain there were lots of traffic accidents reported. I only heard of one microburst that did major wind damage in our area.
I still haven't seen any hummingbirds but if they tried to get to the feeder, they would get seasick, swinging in the wind. It is still blowing like crazy here. Today is only in the 60's and it is not as humid as it has been lately though.
But before we know it, all our time will be spent outside playing with plants and lots of yard work. So don't forget to take time to smell the roses. Thanks for being my friend!
