Hi there. Thought I would send you a pretty rose today. I used to have a beautiful tropicana rose bush that made the biggest roses I have ever seen and smelled so good. But it died several years ago. I miss those roses. They would smell up the whole house. I won't be on here tomorrow or Friday and the weekend. We will be out of town visiting our oldest daughter and our grandsons. Tomorrow is supposed to be windy and cool. Don't like traveling in the wind. Well have a good rest of your week my friend and take care. Cheryl
forecast says could get another freeze this friday so holding up on planting anything,,march is always 'iffy" here
Judy brought in a few groceries today,, I ordered a new fitted sheet for my bed and got Amazon delivery today,,washing it and will have Judy help me get it on the bed Friday when she comes, Is too hard for me to do it alone.
Watching convoy again today...cops had all the off ramps shut down yday so they couldnt drive the route they wanted.
Got my hair shampooed and trimmed a bit this morning..
Got some brats to fix for dinner tonight with baked beans..maybe some cole slaw to go with..
I'm smiling at your comment about the dogs, Pam. We have a towel at the back door so our dog can tand on it when wet so we can wipe her down and dry off her feet some before walking on the rug. She is so good about it. It was a sunny day with blue skies and 67 degreess. Think tomorrow will be about the same - maybe I'll make it outside if the rain doen't move in. Made split pea soup for dinner - first time - not bad - all the recipes were about the same so I just picked one. We have enough left over for another meal or for Rich to have for lunch for a couple days. Had French bread baguette with butter also and jello for desert. Hope you had a good day and that it was sunny in your part of the woods also. Hugs, Wendy
Good afternooon my friend. Its a nice day here. At least the wind isn't blowing like it was yesterday. I have tulips slowing coming up. That is all the flowers I have to come up. My husband calls them weeds cause they come up every year. But I really like them. They are red and have a yellow middle. Not much going on here today. I'm still getting used to this time change. I feel tired all the time. Hopefuly it won't be much longer and my body will be used to it. Well take care my friend and enjoy the rest of your day. Cheryl
It's 56 and sunny here Pam, and I'm loving the longer light even if it's only been 2 days. Have the men's meeting at the post tonite so no cooking - we'll eat there as Rich likes to get there early. I have the last load of wash in the drier and it's gone off to let me know things are done. I also too care of my plants and watered them all, swept the kitchen floor twice! and put fresh sheets on the bed. I'm more than ready to sit down for a bit. Your pic about the hip replacement on the horse is funny as I'd sure like to get mine done but the docs are satisfied with just keep giving me shots. That's why I went somewhere else to see if their opinion was different - but no. Aren't you happy you get to work a extra hour out in your garden, Pam? Have a good rest of the day - it'll soon be spring! Hugs, Wendy
