Hi ya Pam - We ony had a few sprinkles today but the ditches still have lots of water in them. We went to a bbq lunch at the senior center - took home two big bags of popped corn and we gave one to our neighbor who has two children and we kept one. Went to a consignment shop to loo around but nothing jumped out at us so we left and went to pick up some fruits and veggies. Got a box for our neighbors too as they wanted to get rid of them. Had white and sweet potatoes, cabbage and onions in them. Then we came home and went to dinner with our Thursday nite group. It's a nice thing sitting down as my hip is starting to bother me again and I don't get till the 5th and my PT starts on the 6th - gee that should be fun. I see you are using the graphic I sent - I think the lady in yellow was a cuttie! Glad you liked her well enough to put her on your page. Have a great Friday, Pam. Hugs Wendy
We survived the early morning storms. After an inch of rain there were lots of traffic accidents reported. I only heard of one microburst that did major wind damage in our area.
I still haven't seen any hummingbirds but if they tried to get to the feeder, they would get seasick, swinging in the wind. It is still blowing like crazy here. Today is only in the 60's and it is not as humid as it has been lately though.
But before we know it, all our time will be spent outside playing with plants and lots of yard work. So don't forget to take time to smell the roses. Thanks for being my friend!
Guesss what I did today? Went shopping while honey went with the boys. They stopped at the commissary and got a few thing among them an 18 count of large eggs for 87 cents. Everyone got a pack!! That's good deal and there is no tax on anything - food, clothing, jewlry or whatever!! I got a pair of jeans that he owed me from back at Christmas, another pair of knock around pants (which I need to return as they are too small). Might look for something else while there as I needed to be somewhere else by 2 pm. Hope your day had some fun in it. No wind here today and a high of 62 - gonna be a bit more windy than today. Have a good Tursday Pam. Hugs, WEndy
