Hi there. I haven't been on here much this Friday. My husband got sick and had a temperture since Saturday evening and it finally broke on sunday evening. He went to work on Monday and was back home at 10 that morning. He went and got tested for Covid and it came back positive. So he is home until Thursday but he is doing good. Its like he isn't even sick. Hopefully I won't get it. I've been taking some extra vitiamns so hopefully that will help. Its a cold and cloudy day here. I have been seeing a few snow flakes when I look outside and that is it.Take care my friend and keep us in your prayers. Cheryl
For us this is it, Pam. Had to go out of town yesterday to see Doc. Snowed all the way there but clear on the way back. All AOK now. Still very cold o/side and lots of snow left. (((XXX)))
Abit cold this morning at 17 below so will stay toasty warm with a nice hot cup of toasted coconut flavored coffee from Good&Gather. It is sunny outside so the snow is glistening . Such a precious site to see. May you have a precious day enjoying your moments. Smiles Gloria
Watched a desappointing game betwenn the Bus and the Rams - the Bucs should have wond that game but they did so poorly in the first half and just ran out of time. Now watching Buffalo and KC, Pam. What are we gonna do on a Sunday after the Superbowl? Was inside again all day - honey took the truck to go around the corner to pick up the paper, but there was none. I bet in a way you'll be glad to get back to work tomorrow - as the weekends are a lot of work on you now that Robert can't do much around the houe. I folded whites, swept and mopped the kitchen floor and that was it. The sun was out strong and is melting alot of the snow - we can already see patches of grass as it was 40 and will be 27 tonite and 46 tomorrow. So I'm sure the snow is gonna be mostly gone :( Oh well it sure was nice to see. Have a good day at work tomorrow and the rest of the week. Hugs, Wendy

I'm no fan of this kind of weather, anymore, either. When we lived up North, in Michigan, we were used to it, and it gave us a lot of experience driving in it, BUT, it gets old, fast, down here in Tennessee...

We got 6-7" of snow over nite - was beautiful to wake up to - things so white and peaceful. The family next door sure had fun in the snow - even their dog - they made snow angles and even built a snowman. I don't have boots so I didn't even go outside except to take a few pictures. Didn't dig the truck out as we weren't going anywhere and it's gonna be in the low 40's tomorrow I'm sure most of this will melt awaay, but it was nice while it lasted. I did 2 loads of laundry, cleaned the master bathroom and made Shepard's Pie for dinner - quite enough for one day. I totally understand how things at home get backed up when you work Pam. I rememberr when I did 48 hrs straight wehn doing home care, I coouldn't even keep up with my bills, so I had to cut back a day. Missed the monay but peace of mind has to come first. Have a peaceful Sunday and get some house work done girl - it's your day off!!! lol. Good nite, Wendy
