Stopping by to wish you a great last day of 2021. Hope no tears will be shed for the year going out. We got home today about 5:30 - took 8 hrs as we had to go pick up the dog from his daughter's place. So good to be home and of course sleeping in our own bed. Had a nice time whille in Jersey even if the weather wasn't the best the last couple of days. But it never really got cold which is good for us. Had a good Christmas eve and Christmas dinner at my sister's - she does such a wonderful job. An I went out to dinner with my sons - each seperately but had leftovers which we took home with us and had for dinner tonite. It rained, misted on the drive home, but otherwise was uneventful. Stopped for a quick bit to eat on the way home and didn't stop after that. I got my hair cut and colored by my friend who lives right down the street from my home in Jersey - got waxed too so I'll be looking good when the new year comes in. We are supposed to go to the post for NYE celebration with our friends. Right now I don't feel like going anywhere, but if I don't go, Rich won't go and I know he'll be disappointed - so I'll put my best face on and go - hope I feel different tomorrow and that it'll be just another Friday nite. Overcast here with odd snow flurries. Trees are bare and birdies hunkering down. Saw some seagulls flying past - intrepid ones. Hope you are out enjoying all your sun and that you are having fun.

A good mid week my friend and the closing of another year. Know the new year will be better than this year which was rough for many of us but God always sees us through all. Getting ready for cold spell coming in and what a change from the warm weather we've had. In case I don't get back before wishing you a very happy healthy new year.........George

I didn't know Texas had such cold weather Pam. It just doesn't fit with what we think about Texas. It was 49 and partly cloudy here today with a dabble of rain here and there. Took my one son out to dinner tonite. Went to the restaraunt/bar down the street - they have always had great food. I got chicken parm and it was so big I could only eat half the spaghetti and one peice of the chicken. I have enough for another whole dinner. I have a hair appointment with the woman down the street so we'll be back there tomorrow and Rich can either stay at the house or go to the VFW when it opens. Then I guess we'll hang at the house till it's time to go to dinner with my other son. Somce tjey aren't getting along I have to go to dinner with them seperately even though they live in the same house. Go figure. Anowhow, tomorrow will be our last day then we are heading home ahead of the NYE's traffic. Wishing you a good day tomorrow. Hugs, Wendy

Bet your glad all the craziness is over with and you could rest and relax now. Had Christmas Eve and Christmas Day dinner at my sister's - good food as always and met my granddaughter and her boyfriend this afternoon and had dinner with them - took them out - was nice but the place they wanted to go with was an hour away! Got to try to get a hold of my hairdresser tomorrow to see if she can fit me in before we leave. Also want to take out each of my son's for dinner - expensive trip eatingwise!
