I have my hands in water all the time since I do 98% of the cooking and clean up, Pam. That's why I can't keep any of my nails. Went to Virginia today to honey's daughter's as she is gonna watch our dog while we go away. She has a male dog and we needed to know if they would get along. They did as our LuLu is so calm she just let him keep sniffing her and finally laid down and went to sleep. His daughter works from home so everyting should be fine. Good thing I made ham and bean soup yesterday as that's what we had for dinner - easy peasy! Made garlic toast to go along with it. Tomorrow I have an eye appointment and get another shot - bad timing as I have to wrap gifts tomorrow as I didn't do any today. Hope you enjoyed this last Monday of the year. Wishing you a good nite. Yes Chritmas is a big day. For me it was great long time ago asa my hubby was here, Now its quite with son and I and some times my daughter from Columbus. May get a few gifts. my 16 granddaughter may come over.
I'm on Santa's bad list - no wonder I didn't see you there - you must have been very, very good Pam. I don't know how you have the time to keep up yor nails the way you do with workiing and all, but they are always nice done and verry pretty. Do you have a 3 day weekend for Christmas? You should and maybe a half day on Thursday too. I need to start wrapping my gifts tomorrow and need to buy a few stocking stuffers for my sons. It gets harder and harder every year to get them something. All I really did was wash the entire bedding, make ham and bean soup and dinner with aa few peices of the ham. This way I won't have to worry about making dinner. Then I just have to worry about 3 more days as we'll be getting subs from our favorite store when we travel home. Hi ya Pam - Got home from the post's Christmas party around 10 - we got there at 4 for social hour then ate at 5 - too early for us, but whatcha gonna do. Dinner wasn't that good really but we ate what we could. But, we had a good time seeing our friends so it was worth it. It's ok that you don't post all the time cause I understand completely. But I do know of some who will not post every day if they don't here form you. I don't understand that, but that's how they are. Sure hope you have a relaxing weekend and that Monday doesn't come too quickly for you!! Our weather here has been super nice - near 70 every day with lots of sunshine, so we are happy but in a few days it's gonna get cold again and this time it might just stay. Hugs, good nite, Wendy

The old light that has been up over 16 years had to come down.
The new LED light went up and it comes on at dusk and goes off at dawn (like the old one used to do).
And it might be twice as bright as the old one. Ok, we didn't know the difference in lumens between the mercury bulb and the LED bulb until after it was up. Hope the neighbors don't complain.
Time for Christmas nails and a haircut. Ok, it is a little too short; but hey, it will grow out again.
