The weather here is supposed to snow later tonite but is rainign right now. Might get 6 - 12" if it lays. Both of us have colds - must have picked it up Sat. when we were at the memorial. Rich started with it on Mon and I got it the day before yesterday. Haven't been anywhere or done anything the last several days - just staying home. Glad hubby is doing so much better - it's got to be hard on him too not being able to do anything - good thing it's not spring or summer when so much outside work need to be done. Think the post will either be closed tomorrow nite or shut early if they are open cause of the impending snow. We wouldn't go anyway so it makes no difference to us. Have a good Friday and then the weekend will be here. Good nite, hugs, Wendy
Now where is my favorite coffee cup. I shall make up some toasted coconut or then again maybe some white chocolate flavored coffee.
I do believe I shall run my errands on Friday when it is warmer outside. In the mean time it is a nice day to stay in doors and put some more pieces on the puzzle and try and catch the dust bunnies that are around the home once again. May you stay toasty warm and enjoy your lovely day the best you can enjoying your moments of life. Smiles Gloria

I hope you are having a nice morning with good weather. We are expecting a much colder weather tomorrow with rain. I hope your hubby is just doing fine now. Hugs, Nancy
Hi there. I hope you are having a good afternoon. I went grocery shopping this morning and got everything on my list. Its a beautiful day here. Tomorrow and Thursday are going to be cold days with a chance of snow. We really need the moisture but don't know if we will get it. Take care my friend, Cheryl.
Hello Pam, glad to hear your hubby did well with his surgery. No snow for us of course, just a heavy frost this morning and 28 degrees at my house early this am. I saw 4 beautiful deer yesterday early. A buck, 2 does and a yearling. I looked for them along our treeline this morning but they weren't there today. The girls are coming later for lunch and a teaparty for our favorite little Bear. Happy day wishes and stay warm.
Turning a new sunrise into a beautiful day depends on you ... live every moment with enthusiasm, even if the circumstances are adverse. Happy Tuesday! kisses.
Hey Pam - we've had high winds since yesterday and they are still with us. Rained most of the day yesterday and had them then. Rich wasn't feeling too good today - think he might have picked up a cold while at the district VFW meeting on Sat or followed by the fundraiser - they raised over $5 grand to be given to the deeased's wife. There were so many folks there and many were strangers busying the food or coming for the silent auction. I hope I don't get anything! Sure hop you have enjoyed your 3 days off and taking good care of you hubby. Only having a few weeks of bad weather isn't bad - ours is mostly mild but we do get pretty cold here for several months. Sleep well tonite. Hugs, Wendy
We've a big dumping of snow, Pam. Main arteries closed. Snow piling up to roof tops. Glad I get to stay in. Have a happy new week and enjoy your Monday. Huggles.
I thought most of us could appreciate this. We have been below freezing at night but are blessed not to have had any snow or snow that stayed.
Hubby is doing OK. He is at the 72 hour mark which means things should start to get better. Pills, cold therapy and keeping his foot elevated are helping lots. This is my last day to nurse him as I go back to work Tuesday through Friday. I will take him to the doctor on the 20th and then go to work.
I know the end of January until mid February is our worst winter weather, but I am still counting the days until Spring...
We been having warm days, then it'll turn cold below the 30s. Brrr. Hurry spring and get here.
