It rained Sunday evening - a bad storm and it rained yesterday and again today. I went out while it was still dry but got caught in the rain when I was done shopping. The main street in town flooded so bad I had to drive on the opposite side of the road to avoid some deep puddles that covered the whole side of the street where I was driving. I hear ya abotu the wind and rain - Last year the wind blew my red glass birdbath and of course it landed on the pavement and smashed it to peices. I just ordered another one off amazon prime today and saved $7 from the regular price. It should be here by the weekend even though I'm a prime member I'm sure it's gonna take an extra few days to get here as it' s "Prime" days. There's always somethng happeninng at your place - with limbs down and your gate being broken. You and your hubby must be super busy and strong to do this day after day. What are you gonna do when you reach my age? I sure wouldn't be able to take care of stuff like that all the time. Honey just mows the lawn anymore and bless the neighbor next door - he weed eats the ditch and sometimes all around the house. It's gonna go down to 69 tonite but has been lower last nite and the nite before. It'll only be in the low 80's for the next few days so we won't need the AC. Keep sending your pics - I love them. Good day,Pam. When hubby and I came to Canada he brought over a 1932 Lagonda which we ran here even tho' the steering was on the right side! Often we would join in a tour of other vintage cars for celebratory fetes of smallish towns. Great fun. Our good friends had a '34 Cadillac. After overnight rain, it is a beautiful morning. The bad storms went south of us but more predited today. Hope it misses us again! At 81 i think i do lot's of resting.lol No hubby to let me to get up and do work i do as little as i can lol, but tonight i will go out to a nice club and dance to good country music and a super band.
