Hope things work out eith your hubby's eye. I had cataract surgery when I first came to NC but I don't think I see as well as I did when I first had it. I really need to get my eyes checked to see if anything is going on. Had a big thunderstorm here this afternoon and the ditches are full - the fogs are loving it though as they are singing at the top of their lungs. Got to go was the color out of my hair. Fnally got tired of the grey peeking thru and got some touch up but it just sat there for a week or so. Tonite was the nite!!! Have a good one Pam. Hugs, Wendy
Hi there. Its already a hot day here. Don't like it one bit. But it is the end of July, and Agust is going to be just as hot. My back is feeling much better today. I have been drinking more water and cranberry juice and that is helping a lot. I'm glad that is working as I didn't want to go to the doctor. I'm one of those people that would rather try a home remedy than go to the doctor. I wish you a good afternoon my friend and take care. Cheryl
A glorious Wed. day to you as you enjoy your special day doing this and that today. This will be our last 90 plus temp day and I am most happy about it. Blessed to have a breeze also so that helps the day to not be as warm.

Am days are getting better Sunday night a close man friend i saw some times and dance with at the age of 68 pass in his sleep and i saw him at the vfw club Saturday it was very sad, But doing better now.
Hi Pam .....just got back from going to Va. Beach with Rich for a doctor's appointment and we stopped at a little Italian place that I found last time we were up there. Shared a pizza and a salad. That'll hold us thru dinner. Fireman's chicken is a casserole that uses spaghetti, cream of mushroom soup, celery, mushrooms and other things topped with cornflakes but I use panko. Feeds a lot of people. There were 5 of Sunday nite and I had almost half left to take back home after everyone had a big peice! And it's good. It was 87 but felt like 92. Not too bad. Are you getting any smoke from the fires out west? It hasn't gotten to us but June says she's getting it up in Boston. I do look around your page an all the other pages her on NOTH as I like seeing the creativity. I always like your little pictures that you put inbetween your comments... I'm lazy and it's too much of a pain to do that!! lol. Have a pleasant evening. Hugs, Wendy
Good Afternoon my friend. Its a warm 93F here. Trying to take it easy here as I have done something to my back and it is causing me pain. I don't want to have to go to the doctor but it isn't getting better. I did something to it on Friday so its only been a few days. Maybe I'm just not giving it much time.
