THAT IS WHAT THE REPAIR MAN SAID. OR RACOON. WE HAVE BOTH IN OUR YARD. CAN'T GET RID OF THEM.

For many the long weekend has started. I can hardly wait to hear all the things you are doing for this US holiday and how you spent your extra day off. For us nothing will be different except trying to calm our four scared dogs as the fireworks go boom.
We have already been to visit friends. Our kids are in Mexico visiting and vacationing. Our adopted family is out of town looking at property for their real estate business.
Yesterday late afternoon we heard thunder and saw lightning. We got a small shower or two but not much rain. Then we woke up this morning to rain. It didn't quit until mid afternoon today. So we ended up with 1-1/2" of rain total. Boy, is it humid. Hard to breathe. Hope your weather is just perfect for the weekend.
Lee, do you think it was a squirel that ate your wires? We really don't like them at all.
Share that smile and try to behave this holiday weekend!
Good Afternoon. I've had a busy day here today so I'm just now getting around to leaving comments. Hope your Friday has been a good one. And you have a fantastic weekend. Its a cloudy day here but no rain. Take care my friend, Cheryl
Hi Pam. Best advice I could get was buy a ceramic 'bit' at h/ware store. Should do the job if you are careful. Thank you for sharing your pix. Enjoy them.
Just dropping by to say hello. I hope you are doing well and having a good week so far. Weekend will soon be upon us. Hope you are having some decent weather. We were having a heat wave here in Oregon. Temps got up to 115. I do like the heat but that was way too hot. Thankfully the temps are dropping back down to mid to upper 90's which is much more tolerable. Take care and enjoy the rest of your week~~ hugs, debijo
Glad you had a nice visit with friends. Thanks for all your comments and pictures.
Hi Pam, been very humid here too and rain almost every day but the temps are tolerable at least so thats good. Hubby watched the college championship too last night but I went to bed early. I think Miss. won they said on the news. No big plans for the fourth here. Will be grililng out some ribs I think and then we have the watermelon chililng which is required for the fourth. Yummy cold watermelon! Have a good day as we welcome a new month.
It's a lazy kind of day - has cooled off but still a little humid. More rain forecast today and I hope we get some this time! Have a wonderful day and take time to smell the flowers! Hugs, Nancy
THEY FINALLY GOT IT FIXED TODAY AFTER FOUR DAYS. IT TURNED OUT THAT A ANIMAL OF SOME KIND ATE THROUGH THE WIRES ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE HOUSE. RAIN GOT IN THE WIRES AND SHORTED THEM OUT. BUT FINALLY IT'S FIXED. GOD BLESS YOU. LEE

Another busy day around here. We just got back from the eye glass doctor. She changed his prescription from when he saw her 6 weeks ago. His Glaucoma doctor recommended this Pediatric Ophthalmologist because of the prism in his glasses and his slanted, double vision. Then she recommended this Optical place because they have a lab on-site and are good with prisms in glasses. So for the last 6 weeks he hasn't had glasses that work for him. We have hope again now.
It is so humid outside that it is hard to catch your breath. Yesterday scattered showers left us with 4/10" rain and because of clouds around the temperatures aren't too high, just humid.
I think I forgot to tell you my Longhorns lost Saturday night. Tonight we will watch the final college baseball game to see who the winner is for this year.
I feel like I have missed a week with visiting friends in Lubbock and running errands since we got back. Thanks again for keeping me posted on your life and for sharing your smile with others. I'll check on you again soon! Lee, I hope you have internet soon!
Happy hump day Pam. How's it going today? Here, it's another hot one about 90 and humid. Was outside long enough to water the plants then again to put my xmas catcus outside - only a month late about that! Was at the VFW last nite to meet honey there and stay awhle with friends. Someone bought 2 extra large pizza for everyone there so I helped myself to two peices. It was a nice unexpected nite out. Your friends sure have a beautiful place! I enjoyed the pics you sent as all of the others. Have a great day. Kee cool. Hugs, Wendy
Brewing up some chocolate raspberry flavored coffee on this precious Wed. Another glorious day in our area.
The household duties may be post poned off and on during this day for I am going to enjoy the out of doors. May you also enjoy your day what ever it is bring to you. The lazy days of summer! Smiles Gloria
It's just that kind of week - staying hydrated! So hot, muggy and storms each day so far and to continue this week. I miss sitting on my porch! Wishing you an awesome day! Hugs, Nancy
A good day to you my friend. Another beautiful day here expecting rain. Have a squirrel feeder with two enjoying the corn on cob and what they don't eat birds keep what's fallen on the ground cleaned up. Hope the day is as beautiful as you are......George
Good morning Pam, the heat goes on. Glad I gave you a good chuckle and maybe today too. I think to drill a hole in ceramic you'll have to use a very small drill bit. Just a guess and that may not help you with what you want to do. Wishing you a wonderful Wednesday.
