Its hot here - 93 and feels like 100. I'm inside all day - did go out around noon to talk to the man who is our friend and here doing the ditches - weed wacking them. Dropping by to say hello and wish you a Happy Sunday.. Hope all is well with you and your family. Had a few overly hot days this week, Tuesday evening at 9:00 it was still 108 outside. Just didn't want to cool down. Thankfully it has dropped back down to the mid 90's the last couple days. It was really smokey out on Friday. Wind blowing the smoke up from the fires in Northern CA. Not much else going on around my neck of the woods, just trying to muster up some energy to get some things done before the weekend is over. Both coffee and a good book are very high on my list of favorites.
Of course, flowers and hummingbirds are also very high on my list.
Our dogs are always at the door to greet us when we come home. And there is nothing cuter than a puppy or a baby of almost any kind.
You should already know by now that Giraffes are very high on my tall list too.
As you have guessed by now, I have a very long list. Pictures and Life are also high on my list. However, Jesus is at the very top! I can't wait to see Him face to face.
Happy Sunday. It is 83* inside the fortress, 75* outside. At 3 am the air was dead and heavy. My yard is going for 90* later today with excessive heat watch. Someone was spreading gossip. They were saying this is supposed to be the hottest week of summer. I hope not! I am aerating the fortress now. I woke up at 1 am and got up and aerated for an hour until I left for the exercise. It helped me to get another hour of sleep. I even drank some water upon returning. That usually is not part of my protocol. Have a good day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
Hope your Saturday was a good day. It was relly nice here with lower temps and a nice breeze. Honey's daughter and boyfriend came and weeded all around the house and weed eated the little garden out front. It looks a hundred times better as it was way overgrown. They did an amazing job. I bought everyone subs for lunch and we were all pleased. Have a lovely nite and weekend.
