Sunday sure came fast. After I watered the plants yesterday morning, we sat on the patio for a while. I got videos of a male hummingbird, a female hummingbird, monarch butterflies, a female cardinal drinking out of a bird bath, a male cardinal drinking out of the saucer under one of the plants and saw several other hummingbirds that were in the tree waiting for us to leave so they could come drink.
Now it is time to get ready for my last long week. I might be off on Thursday but it will be a busy week. I am getting excited but I know how much I will miss Kelly and all her wonderful clients.
So we will be sailing off into the sunset to a new adventure. On Wednesday, the 16th, I will not HAVE to wake up around 5 am. I don't ever set an alarm but I am always up early enough to get done what I need to do that morning before work.
Even though I have finished a couple of WONDERFUL Christian books lately, I have added many more books to my Kindle app on my iphone. I love getting free books every day and just can't not download them.
Thanks for hangin' in there with me and being such a treasured friend. My posts will be in the bulletins for a bit longer. But I always look forward to hearing from you and the pictures you share.
Happy Sunday. This month is named after the famous Italian, Augustus Caesar. He set the bar high so we have something to shoot for. Yesterday, when doing my thing, I thought of him, and his mother, and worked hard to get it done. By the way, corn on the cob is overrated. Just something you can tell your friends and countrymen. Have a good day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
Hope you had a good Saturday - it was back up to 90 today - more like where it's supposed to be for this time of the year. I did nothing but make lunch for us, go food shopping for things to make for dinner tomorrow for the 4 of us on our game nite and of course, make dinner and clean up for us. It was a good day. Sure hope you have a good nite with restful sleep. Hugs, Wendy
I hope your weekend is full of fun and a bit of relaxation, too. Hot and humid here (what's new, right?) so I may do some sewing later on. Whatever you are doing, enjoy your Saturday!
Good morning. Happy Saturday. For those of you who are writing my unauthorized biography, it is the day for separating the coffee filters. Outside of going to church, that is the big job of the day. It was tough getting started this morning as I was attacked by a case of laziness. I did not want to go but I managed to overcome the agony. Of course after completing my exercise, one feels really good about overcoming human weakness. I am planning on taking a day off before the end of summer. I have not taken a day off this year. In either case, I am preparing for the rest of the day until I am summoned to church at 4:00 PM. Have a good day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
GOOD MORNING, LOVE, HUGS & BLESSINGS, Ms. Barbie, I pray YOU have a SATISFYINGLY SENSATIONAL SATURDAY, and are having a STEADFAST WEEKEND, my friend...
Friday nite and all is well my friend. Have a wonderful and happy weekend. Had to chuckle when I saw your layout - it's a bit early for Fall and especially Thanksgiving, but I do like the orange. Went to the Moose as our usual, and hardly anyone was there. We left right before 11 and left the bartender, her honey and one other guest. Tomorrow I'm going grocery shopping as I need to get a few things to cook dinner as it's my turn to cook at our dominos game on Sunday. I don't think prices have come down any or will they. But we have to eat, don't we? Have a good nite. Hugs, Wendy
