I sure hope this is our last cold morning.  I am almost ready for Summer, just 92 more days.  

It may be cold here this morning but it is a beautiful day and the sun is shining.  Welcome to a new season and a new week. 

I want to go outside and put out hanging baskets and plant some new flowers but it doesn't take long before I am running back inside.

Meanwhile at Selma Park around the Amon G. Carter Lake, my precious Wendy, sent me a video of all the deer across from her front porch in Bowie, Texas.  This is a still shot from that video.  

So for now, I will have to be content looking at these flowers in front of the TV just waiting to get to go back outside.  

Meanwhile the orchids, Easter cactus and anthurium, all fight for the little bit of sunshine peeking through the overcast of clouds begging for warmth to come through the window.  I am waiting to see the butterflies and hummingbirds return.  HAPPY first day of Spring!

Hope you are having a day day.  The sun is out at least every once in a while as the rain stopped this morning.  We had a nice day yesterday eating out corned beef and cabbage dinners that we picked up at the CPOA club theb met with 6 others at the Moose who also got the dinners.  Today we got chicken bbq dinners from a local high school and they ook and smell wonderful.  Can't wait to eat them!  Enjoy the rest of the day.  Hugs, Wendy
