Good morning. 41* this morning and heading into the 70s. I better get out today as I will not be seeing a lot of this the rest of the year. My egg tasted good this morning. It must not have been overcooked. The bad news is I am out of lettuce for the salad today. Have a good day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
hVE BEEN SORT OF BUSY LATELY SINCE THE WEATHER IS COOLING OFF ALMOST DONE WITH THE FRONT THEN ON TO THE BACK NOW AM AT ODDS WITH A CHIPMUNK TRYING TO RELOCATED IT
Happy Sunday. Cool 36* on the walk this morning. Getting to be winter. It is the type of morning when you put your coffee cup on the table and when you go to take a drink, it is cool. Have a good day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
Top of the morning and wishing you a beautiful weekend. Got down into the 50's last night and only 70's today. Relax this weekend and share a kind word and smile....George
Good morning. Welcome to the weekend. It was somewhat cool this morning, about 40°. But the sky was really clear and I could see every start that exists in my quadrant. I actually did not feel like going out this morning but I conquered the feeling and completed the task. I managed to get the rest of the brush I cut down to the waste site yesterday. I shall not be cutting any more this year as I am not enjoying taking it down there. I have to take it down there in the trunk of my compact car and it always takes me two or three trips. And then of course there are the police. They sometimes take exception to things hanging over your license plate and hanging way out the back without a red flag. I'm not planning on doing anything today except going to church this afternoon. Not my favorite thing to do on the weekend as a lot of people go to church. I'm not big into crowds. I used to sit up in the choir but that has been closed off since the renovations. I am hopeful that it reopens someday. In the meantime I have found a place in the Mother's Room. I used to sit there years ago but gave it up for the choir area. Have a good day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
I am having a fabulous Friday and hope you are, too. I've made pumpkin bars for our cookout tomorrow afternoon. Baked them this morning and frosted them after lunch. It's a warm one here so I'm thankful tomorrow is to be cooler so we can all enjoy being outdoors. What's happening with you? Do you have anything going on this weekend? Enjoy what is left of today and have a nice evening.
It is Friday and the weekend is in sight. The winds are slowly shifting from S to W and soon N. We are 78° now and "supposed" to be in the 40's for 3 nights in a row. Then a week of 50's for lows and upper 70's for highs. It will sure be nice weather for the last weekend of the Texas State Fair.
In just two weeks we will "fall back" and it will be dark by 5 pm. I really hate falling backwards. Wish we could leave the time change in the "spring forward" mode forever.
So are you almost ready for next weekend? My girls would NEVER stand for this. Well, if they knew a treat was coming they might.
I have done my part. I have changed from Pumpkins to Bats. This picture doesn't do it justice because they change colors from iridescent blue to iridescent purple. Bats are really good creatures.
Share your smile.
The wind just changed to the North and blew stuff in the entryway to the floor.
Or the bats knocked it down. I just can't decide.
But Blessings and Hugs are wished for you this weekend.
Still no sign of the employer's truck or you this week. The driver must have taken the week off and is lying on the couch keeping his place for the game.
Good morning. Happy Friday. The gears of the week and life continue to turn. 41* this morning on the walk. No wind so not terrible. Needless to say, wearing a coat. Prayer warriors on facebook were not needed yesterday as I went to the store and bought some eggs. Have a good day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
The rain is gone and it is a misty, dreary day. We are still a little warm and humid but cooler temperatures are promised for us in the next week. Tropical Depression Pamela gave us 2" but areas (Kyle Kid included) got up to 5" of rain.
This is the perfect weather for a nap even though I rarely take them. My Hubby would say every day is a perfect day for a nap.
I just don't seem to have much "get up and go" today. But alas, we have errands to run. So I best be getting in gear.
