Hello Barbara. A lot of us are hoping the employer's truck is on the road this morning.

Good morning.  A pleasant morning for my exercise this morning.  I was a little late and so I inadvertently ran into a guy I used to work with.  I took a different route and was walking past the company where he was covering his motorcycle.  It gave me bonus time to actually have a conversation not electronically produced.  I'm thinking of going to a grocery store today, the one that is close to my abode.  I did a cameo yesterday at a grocery store at the other end of the town as I was going to stop at BEST BUY for assistance with cameras.  Unless you're planning on spending some real money, no one seems to be selling regular cameras anymore that are reasonably priced.  They either have cheap junk, or expensive cameras.  And what's worse, try to find a battery for your camera when no one is really carrying that brand anymore.  I was shocked that even online I could not have BEST BUY fulfill my requirements.  I am hopeful that I have found a solution.  I was going to bite the bullet in buying the camera that was more expensive than I wanted to, but when reading the specifications, I did not like some of the things about it.  For instance, it did not come with a cord to connect to the computer or to recharge the battery.  Apparently one has to take the battery out of this camera to charge it.  So now I am waiting to find out if my solution shall really be a solution.  Fortunately I had at least one other camera that works and the one that the bad battery works sufficiently for a short time.  I never realized how good these cameras were that I bought years ago.  I think they are trying to sell people expensive cameras now that people can use their cell phones to take pictures.  I of course do not have a cell.  Have a good day.  Ciao for now and watch your wallet!

Happy Monday, Michelle.

We got one nice downpour shower on Saturday that gave up 1/2" of rain and filled my 4 buckets that were empty.  So now I have water to pour on the plants under eaves that don't get a drink when it rains.  

We had a great weekend but don't know what we actually did other than watch college football all day Saturday and NFL all day Sunday after our three Church sermons online.  As you can see I have already been outside and my strawberries are still producing.  I already potted 5 new plants that someone shared with me.  

HELP ME!

You can tell what Hubby is doing.  He is on the last of four dogs now.  For the most part, they are not excited about bath time but do tolerate it.  

So I guess I will pay a few bills and see what the rest of the day holds for us.  It is national Taco day, but we will probably wait until tomorrow.  

Merriest Monday to you! Looks very fallish out my window today. Not very sunny and a bit deceiving. It's very humid even though the temperature is decent. Looks to be a wet week, according to the weatherman and, since we are behind on rainfall, it will be a welcomed event. Hope you had a wonderful weekend and that we both have a terrific week this first full week of October!
