Hope you had a nice weekend  VG.  What are you dong for the 4th of July?  Have any plans, or having a quiet evening at home?  We are going to our friend's house who are having a bbq.  Bringing two  pepperoni and cheese trys - not sure how many  people will be there but it shold be enough.  Was 95 at 10 am - hot and muggy, but a thunderstorm rolled thru in the afternoon and cooled thigs off by 20 degrees - nce out now but the rest of the week including tomorrow will be hot - in the 90's.  I just might be mostly in the house until the evening when hopfully they do a bonfire.  Have a happyth holiday.  Hugs, Weny

Good afternoon to you. Its warming up to another hot and humid day. I already have the air conditoner on. My husband and I worked out in the yard most of the afternoon yesterday. We were cleaning up the tree limbs from the wind storm we had a week ago. It was a hot and humid day yesterday. We usually go and get groceries on Sunday evening and eat out. But we didn't last night as we were tired and sweaty from working in the yard. Do you have anything planned for the 4th? We do, we are going down the street to Tony, my husband, sister's house for eating out in the yard and then watching the younger ones pop fireworks later after it gets dark. I'm just taking it easy this afternoon. I did go to Walmart and get the stuff we needed since we didn't go yesterday. Enjoy the rest of your day my friend and take care and stay cool. Happy Monday!  Do you have family or friends around for the holiday weekend?  

I have a friend on a cruise out of Galveston.  Beautiful picture in the Gulf of Mexico on their first evening aboard.  

My son called Saturday night on FaceTime.  The whole family ran a 3K at Texas Motor Speedway and then went to the Foam Party.  I took pictures while we were on FT.  This is Michelle asking me to take a picture.  They had so much fun.  

This is a picture I took the morning of July 1st.  I hope it is still this pretty by the 5th or 6th after everyone in our neighborhood has shot off millions of $ in fireworks.  From 10 to midnight Saturday night, on and off were lots of BOOMS.  Our dogs were not happy.  Last night there were some but not too many going off.    

I did get a video from my family in Bowie, Texas.  They had friends and family over to watch from their yard since about 3 different places near them shot off fireworks all around the lake.  Just 2 more nights to go.
