Love your graphic with the old stove and flowers, MK.  Was in the 80's and humidity not too bad and no rain.  Weatherman says there'll be rain everyday this week, but it hasn't happened yet.  Had subs from Jerey tonite for dinner as honey's brother went up for a visit and brought them and two Jersey tomatoes back with him.  Can't get subs like them down  here anywhere and no tomato is as good tasting .  Have a great evening and sleep well tonite.  Hugs, Wendy

Good afternoon my friend. Its a hot one here. Its 102* and breezy. And it looks like its going to be in the 100's for quite some time. I had a busy morning as I went to where my son lives, just a 30 minute trip, and cut his hair for him. Ate with him and his girlfriend, then went to Walmart to get a couple of things that I needed and came back home. Tried to take a nap but all I could do was cough for some reason. So I got up and decided to get on here. I hope it isn't to hot where you live. Well take care my friend. Hugs, Cheryl

Adulthood sometimes feels like the worst "hood" I have ever lived in.  But then sometimes I remember Childhood and feel the same way about it.  

If the essence of my being has caused a smile upon your face or a touch of joy within your heart, then my mission has been accomplished.  

Morning Vintagegirl's, my mother had a stove like that when i was a kid. She would cook eggs, pancakes, and bacon right on top of the stove where the fire was.

After 2 cups of coffee and pumpkin bread, I have read comments and emails.  We are 92° at 10:15 am.  I have used nose spray and essential oils because I can't breathe.  I have used creams, gels, and sprays on my 6 itching mosquito bites.  I am trying to get energized for the day.  

That is when I realize that it is Wednesday.  What?  The plants in the front yard have been watered by Hubby and the chickens have been checked on already.  We get 5 eggs a day; have 10 and should have 5 more later today.  There is NOTHING as good as fresh eggs.  

As I look at your name, I pray that you will have a blessed day full of beautiful colors!  Please share your smile with others as you never know who needs it the most!   You might just add some sparkle to their day.
