I have actually had to water the hanging baskets. They dry out so fast in the wind and sun. But isn't this a glorious time of year.
In between working in the yard, I sit on the patio to rest and watch for hummingbirds. I can identify at least 3 different ones so far this year. Of course my favorite is the male with the black head and the ruby throat (especially when the sun hits him just right).
Now if I can just keep the dogs out of the flower beds and stop them from digging in the mulch. I find it everywhere. But then they look at us with those puppy dog eyes and I just go rake the mulch back into place.
I guess they are enjoying spring as much as we are as they run, jump, dig and bark at everything. So don't forget to share your smile.

Weather was just about perfect here yesterday temperature wise. I did break a slight sweat in the sun but the breeze made it nice. Today isn't bad either even though the clouds have moved back in.
