Do you know how good it feels to be home today? I have at least 3 big loads of laundry to get done. I am sure I have a list a mile long.
It is a chilly morning, only 60's for highs and so I probably won't go outside until late in the day. Perfect day to read a book. Besides, the weekend will be in the 80's.
You are invited to come on over! Even stay for the weekend. I promised there won't be a lot of work going on here (and I know you believe me). Ok... toilets need scrubbing, many bags of mulch need spreading and just a couple of other things on my list like reading a book.
Had a big thunderstorm this evening - hail with it. It started after we got home from our Thursday nite dinner. Honey went to his doc appointment today and goes for xrays tomorrow to see if he has pneumonia and they sent up an appointment for him to see his lung doc on Mon. Made bunnies at the senior center today - dressed them up in a felt vest and dress. Got other seasonal stuff up also - did alot - good thing I have PT tomorow. Hope you have a wonderful Friday, MK. Good Morning to you. I've already been out and about this morning as I wanted to get the things I needed at Dollar General before the wind got up. Its going to be a awful windy day here today. Hi, my friend, I don't believe how long since I have been here on The Hill. Thank you so much for the sweetest comments... I really appreciate them all. Well,... I have been busy with work around the house and the aches and pains of getting older; and preventing me from getting work done. I have avoided the "Virus", don't go anywhere to stay safe. But, I am getting into doing crafts again. Won't be going back to craft shows just yet, so will be selling on line; again, to stay safe from the "Virus". Winter has been gone from N. H., not that we got much of one at all this year. I'm getting ready to start the container veggie garden for 2022. Daily rain coming up, so I'll start the day after Easter.
Hopefully, now that I am fully retired, I wil be here more often. I have always done my own cooking, but the same old same old. So, I have been getting into cooking new & different recipies/foods. Well, I need to get back to work here; there is enough at my house and property to keep me working full time for several years. It's that old addage "The cobler's kids always end up going barefoot." Just got back last night from being out of town since Sunday. We had to travel out of town to attend a funeral for a relative and just got back last night. So I'm back here seeing how everyone is doing and hope you are having a good week. We have another funeral to go to this Friday but its here in town. Makes for a hard week. One on Monday and then one on Friday. I'm doing good just doing the laundry. Got one load in the washer and one load in the dryer and another load waiting to be done.
