happy Thurs. to you MK yesterday we spent the morning making homemade pierogies and it was almost 1:00 when we were finished our Wed. was happy but not sunny it was cloudy & cold only in the 30's all day and for today is another day of coldness & snow showers. Hugs,Robert & Ceil

Each day we start with temperatures just cold enough that my plants that are covered or in garage will not like it uncovered or outside. But we are going to chance it for a day or two. Hopefully we don't get a surprise freeze, even though I don't think any meteorologist in the Dallas area can predict the weather accurately. Then if it is warm enough, I might cut back some things that got burned in the last freeze. But I would rather sit down and read. I have a great Christian fiction book on my kindle that is calling my name.
So what ever you decide to do today, share your smile with someone who needs it. Oh, and that housecleaning Fairy did get lots of stuff thrown out but my goodness there is so much more to do.
Thank you Mary Kay, I like your caben in the woods. I alwas said I should have been a bachelor, I love been alone in the woods with my dog and the wild animals. The only problem, I love kids too. Hi MK!! It was a nice day her - friends stopped by to visit for a while - very enjoyable. Sun finally came out and turned out to be a very nice day with temps about 47. Hope your day was super. Have a wonderful nite. Hugs, Wendy
Talk about the perfect snow. On Sunday we accumulated 1-1/2" of snow and a few hours later it was gone. But wasn't it beautiful? Big, puffy flakes. Surrounding areas got more and built snowmen in special Texas fashion.
So now it is back to cleaning, cooking and paying bills. We are still pretty cold at night but nice temps as long as you aren't in the wind during the day.

Hi there. Its another cold morning here. Guess it just normal January weather but I don't like the cold. I'm more of a Spring and Fall weather person. Got my laundry going and need to make my bed, but I haven't decided if I want to or not, I'm feeling lazy for some reason. I guess its okay to be lazy every once in a while. I have a book that I'm reading and getting close to the end of it and its really good and I want to finish it so that is what I will be doing later today.
