Hi Deb, did Hurricane Sally blow through your area? We were only on the outer edge of it but boy did it dump the rain on us! 8 inches at my house in less than 8 hours. Roads are washing out all over my county. Sun i sout today and drying us out thank goodness. Happy weekend!
Hope you had a thankful Thursday and that you had a blessed day. I went to lunch with two friends - both Red Hatters. One was the queen and then the both of us who were members. The chapter closed many years ago and we never joined another group. We went to a local place that had outdoor seating and we watched the golfers and carts going all over. We all had crab cake sanwiches which were messy but so good! We sat there for a couple hours just chatting about everything and catching up. It was lots of fun and great seeing these gals again. We have plans to get together again - maybe while I'm still here or later when I get back to Jersey. Have a pleasant evening and a peaceful nite's sleep. It's TGIF tomorrow! Beautiful day hugs, Wendy
I hope you are staying safe Deb! I have been busy getting ready for company next week. It's amazing how much stuff one collects over time and how it always ends up in the spare bedroom as storage. I have at least found the bed, so they have somewhere to sleep! lol. Things sort of hit the fan over at that other place....but it was a risk we were all willing to take for some changes. Only change is 6 of us are gone now. Oh well!
Haven't been on last several days - had a stomach bug but as of today I finally was able to eat. I'll never loose weight!!! Was a beautiful day out - actually swept the drive later in the afternoon and cleaned up a bit. Have a good Thursday - take care always. Hugs, Wendy
