Hi there and happy first day of September. Its going to be 100here today. And going to be a hot weekend. I'm ready for it to cool off. The mornings are nice and cool. I hope you have a nice Friday afternoon and a good weekend. Take care and hugs to you, Cheryl
Hi Pam - not much happening here today. We were out last nite at the Moose, cause someone thought there was a meeting and I knew there wasn't but we went anway. All our friends were there and we stayed till 11:30. Our good friends left around 10, since she had her knee replaced this morning. On every month that has 6 Wednesdays in it, the Lodge has always made butter beans and sausage and biscuits. Well that lad passed so our freind too it over and she does ok, but last nite her beans were few and very soupy and she makes cornbread instead - $5 but she makes a dessert also so not bad but everyone complained there weren't enough beans in it or ham. We went out to eat at 4:30 with his brother and hs wife - kinda early for me as I got the stuffed shells - 2 and brought one home. I finally ate this morning or I should say in the afternoon around 2:30/3 o'clock so I wasn't that hungry at 4:30. We stopped at the CPOA after for a drink and there was only one person in there and he was our friend. So I'm betting he was glad we came in! Tomorrow nite is back at the Moose and since our friends probably won't be there - unless she comes in with a walker. he said he would be there, but I really think he was kidding as I don't think he's leave her alone. Have a good nite and say good bye to August, Pam Why are you going back to work so soon? Is the replacement person taking off already? Hugs, Wendy
Well its finally the last day of August. I'm hoping September will be cooler. The mornings are cool here, but the afternoon gets up in the 90's . I think I will change my page to Fall. I've been waiting to do that and September always makes me think of Fall. Well take care my friend . Hugs to you, Cheryl
From February, 1990 thru November, 1997, we lived on a 20 acre plot of land, in Kalkaska County, Upper Michigan. Where the average snowfall, yearly, is never less than 100 inches, and we witnessed a year with 252 inches, that's 21 feet of snow. While there I hand fed both a Chickadee, which landed right on my finger tips, and ate seeds out of my hand, and a Hummingbird, who had gotten caught up in the peak of our pole barn, and had to be coaxed out with our feeder as I held it for them. As soon as it got outside, it realized it was free, and shot off like an arrow for home. It had been lost in that pole barn for a whole night, before I found a way to free it. Short answer, YES, it almost landed on my hand, and I have had others fly within inches of my head...
GOOD MORNING, LOVE, HUGS & BLESSINGS, Ms. Pam, I pray YOU have a TRANSFORMATIONALLY THIRSTY THURSDAY, and have had a TANTILLIZING WEEK, my friend...
