Hi there. I hope you are having a good afternoon. Its a hot 101* here. At least it isn't humid. Had a busy morning, then came home and took a nap. Feeling rather refreshed from the nap. Got anything planned for this week? We have a trip to Oklahoma City on Wednesday. My hubby has a doctor's appoinmnet on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. He broke his colar bone last year at the end of October and its still bothering him. So that will be a long day for us. Not much else going on, just staying inside where its cool. Our next electric bill is going to be awful with the fans running all day and all night and the air conditioner running during the day. Happy new week Pam. How's your day going? I'm sure it's still hot where you are. It's 93 here and feels like 100. So it's not cool here either. I was outside talking to the man who was weed eating our ditches, and could only stay in the sun for about 20 minutes and had to come in before I got burned. And here's where I'm staying. Rich went out to get new cartridges for the printer as I ran out of ink - I print too many recipes but that is my only downfall. I don't go out spending money on clothes or shoes or make up or getting nails done or anything else personal. Ok I do get my feet done, as that's important to keep from getting ingrown nails from occuring but that's only once every 3 months. He has saved 10s of thousands of $ (probably more) since he's been single. I need to get something out for dinner, so I hope you enjoy the rest of the day. Hugs, Wendy

Evening Pam - how was your day? Besides being hot I mean! It was a nice day here a little on the warm side at 89 but still nice with little humidity. Both of us were home today as domiinoes was cancelled as the man had a meeting till 5 then ate dinner after. We had sausage, brocolli rabe and pasta warmed up for dinner and there is still some left over for another nite. Did a load of laundry and that was about it beside making up a fresh bed. Dropping by to say hello and wish you a Happy Sunday.. Hope all is well with you and your family. Had a few overly hot days this week, Tuesday evening at 9:00 it was still 108 outside. Just didn't want to cool down. Thankfully it has dropped back down to the mid 90's the last couple days. It was really smokey out on Friday. Wind blowing the smoke up from the fires in Northern CA. Not much else going on around my neck of the woods, just trying to muster up some energy to get some things done before the weekend is over.
