I have a big planter of impatients tht I forgot to water on my front porch that the all the rain we had in the last several days didn't reach so they are wilted. I watered them good and hope they can come back. iI got a big Mother's Tongue from a lady down the street when she moved that has tripeled in size and will have to stay in this house as it can't be moved so although it isn't a beautiful Bird of Paradise, it is a beautfiul plant. I'm hoping if I ever have to move, I can take all my spider plants and Christmas cactus with me. The big one will have to sit on the floor all by itself - that's the one that has only bloomed one time since I've had it.
Went to see my surgeon today and he said everythign looked good the x rays showed everything in alignment and healing good so I don't need to see him for a year. After that we went to a memorial at the post for a woman who was an auxillary memberand helped out with all the oyster roasts we had and other big dinners. She passed suddenly and was well liked. The turnout was big and there was a lot of food but not alot was good tasting ! but i don't have to cook - might have a snack later though. Glad you had the day off - does that mean you work Thurs and Fri Pam? If so hope they are good days. When is the replacement coming? Hope soon for your sake. Good afternoon to you my friend. Its a hot 90* here and humid from the storm we had last night. It was a very very windy storm. Had some rain with it but now we have tree limbs to cut down that are laying on the ground. I don't know how high the wind was but it was awful. Now the sun is shining and its hot. Not much else going on. I took some pictures of the tree branches, I need to post them on here. Well take care my friend and enjoy your afternoon. Good afternoon to you. I hope you are having a good one. I had errands to do earlier so I'm just now getting on here. Its a warm afternoon here. But not as hot as it will be on Wednesday. Its supposed to get up to 100. I don't like that at all. Yesterday we spent most of the day outside. My husband got his mower running and spent the time mowing the yard and I was cleaning out our "new" hot tub that his sister gave to us. I was sore last night from leaning over cleaning out the hot tub. We haven't filled it with water yet. I hope I will like it. Not much else going on here. Just taking it easy. May you have a glorious day doing this and that and hearing the birds singing. Many nests in the trees this spring so now I am watching the little birds flying around to and fro. It is so cute to watch is off and on as one is doing their daily duties. Smiles Gloria
