A funny Christmas film from Jeroen Houben called “Best Wishes”. These guys have really gotten into the Christmas spirit as they have created some impressive light displays for their homes. It’s nice to see that the real meaning of Christmas hasn’t been lost on them as even without all the fancy lights they can still celebrate Christmas.

OMG forgot your own anniversary. Oh well, those things happen as get older. No rain here today, thank goodness but it is cool and a lot of wind still. Had 90 klm winds here the other day,wrecked a pier and lots of boats. Had to rescure a fella from the ocean as he fell off the pier when the wind took it. so lucky. Hoping for better weather without the wind as don'twant to lose power when I have a turkey in the oven Christmas Day. Dare not to think about that. Been out of sync for a while with technical issues. All fixed now (I hope). Had to do with a firewall which was over reaching itself.
Are you all prepared for the big day? Sugar and spice and all things nice? Here at our retirement residence we had a grand lunch put on yesterday with tables groaning with goodies. Ate myself silly but managed not to put on any new weight. Hoping it will last 'til after the hols :) :)

At 22 years ago, my wife and I were scheduled on a 14 day cruise to go through the Panama Canal on New Years Eve. It will be 22 years ago on the 29th of December 1996 that I lost my wife and did not make the cruise.
