I see you are back online - so I hope that means you are feeling better. Sunny and nice day about 88 or so. Neighbors were in the pool - the besst place to be on a hot day! Have a good new week ahead. Hugs, Wendy
Ida will be no more than a rain event by the time she gets to Eastern Middle TN, where we live, but thank you for the well wishes, and be safe, yourself, as well...
GOOD AFTERNOON, LOVE, HUGS & BLESSINGS, Ms. MaryK, I pray YOU have a SUPERIORLY SPLENDID SUNDAY, and have had a STUPENDOUS WEEKEND, my friend...
Praying for everyone in Louisiana and Mississippi and all in Ida's path. We are blessed with clouds today and hoping for a sprinkle or two of rain as we just finished mowing the yard. The St. Augustine grass was so tall that I couldn't see what shoes I had on my feet.
I looked at the radar as I started this note to you and there was a small shower maybe 30 miles from us. Everything just now got quiet and I could hear rain. I looked at radar again as a shower popped up on top of us. Now it has quit. Blessings from Heaven on our newly mowed yard for 2 minutes.
Now it is time for lunch. What is a girl to do? How does cooking (or fixing something to eat) come around so often?
And all I want to do is read or maybe watch some football or the little league playoff game. I hope you had a blessed weekend and shared your smile.
Just a note to say hello and to wish you a lovely Sunday. Hope you are doing well and staying safe. All is well my way. Actually enjoyed cooler weather this week with temps in the 80's. But it went back up in the mid 90's for the weekend. Before we know it Fall will be upon us. Time is flying by. Anyway, you take care and enjoy your Sunday, and have a great week~~~ hugs, debijo
Sure hope you are a bit better MK. It was a nice sunny 92 degree day here till it started thndering and then what a downpour but it didn't last that long. Should take the temps down a bit. Hope you got to eat the old 'chicken soup' remedy and keep resting up. Enjoy what you can - this gives you a chance to read or go thru old e mails - life has a way of making us slow down! Huugs, Wendy
A happy hello to you and hope the weekend is great for you. Had to put my wife in the hospital with pneumonia again Wednesday. Makes 9 times since the first of year. She gets aspiration pneumonia easy. Have a good new month to start my friend....George
Just finished the 2nd book in the Three Rivers Ranch Romance Box set of 3 by Liz Isaacson. Miss Kitty Wells, our Papillon, got groomed today and the other 3 got their nails trimmed.
So you would think that everyone was all dressed up and ready to go out. Guess what?!? They are all taking a nap. Sometimes this is the most exciting place to be... or not.
I guess that is what happens after a delicious meal. OK, I sort of cooked. I made pancakes and pan sausage for our meal of the day around 12:30. Don't laugh and don't look so shocked!
For the past week, every time we have seen an iHop commercial, we have talked about how they don't taste as good there as the ad makes them look on TV. Well, mine tasted better than iHop!
You are such a good friend. I really appreciate you not laughing out loud at me even with my new haircut.
Another Friday is already here. I did finally get a haircut yesterday from a new stylist. She took her time and it felt like I was being pampered.
So here I am trying to see what you have been up to this week as the month of August comes to a close. I know that next month the temperatures should cool slightly in Texas and I am ready. We are also going to spray for mosquitos because when I go out in the early evening to water, I get lots of bites.
Guess which fairy looks most like me. Hint, there is no gray hair showing on my head at the moment. OK, guess which fairy I think of as looking most like me. Where did the years go?
So now I am going to wish you a Blessed weekend and ask that you remember to share your smile with everyone you encounter.
