Laid back day - went food shopping and to the VFW with honey for the men's meeting.  Was a beautiful 82 degree day with sunshine.  Had an almost tornado touch down here - thankfully it passed us by.  Hello to a new month!  Where does time go to?  Hugs, Wendy

Hi there. And good afternoon. Its a nice 85 here. When I got up this morning it ws 61 with a nice cool breeze. No rain, just some cooler days. I will take them while I can get them. Have a nice new week my friend and take care.  Cheryl

Here we are in August already and I don't even know where the last few days have gone.  I got the yard mowed Sunday afternoon.  We got 8/10" rain Sunday during the night.  I also got fresh Hummingbird food put out in all 3 feeders.  

The flowers, bugs, birds, grass, everything is so happy today.  This weekend we will be back to near 100 but we are grateful to God for all his blessings.  

Don't forget to share your smile today.  Now off to vacuum and mop this dirty house.  Feel free to come over and help as you are always welcome here.   Still laughing at cat stealing food.

we are enjoying the first

day of august..we got up at 6:30 this morning and we took our morning meds then we went downstairs and fed the cats and had our coffee while watching the news and after the news went off we went for a walk and stopped at a couple yard sales but they didn't have anything good so we went home and watched TV for awhile then I decided to go upstairs and go on "TheHill" and answer my comments and when I'm finished I'll join Ceil in the bedroom annd we'll take a nap and when we wake up from our nap we'll go downstairs and get our supper started and we're going to have a top round steak & pasta and after we eat we'll take our showers then dry off and go upstairs into the bedroom and we'll watch TV while we take turns playing games on my phone until we're ready to go to bed.
