Sounds like you had a good birthday party for your grandson. I didn't do anything over the weekend but I did watch my church service online on Sunday. I have been reading a lot of books and staying home. I know you will enjoy having that grandson with you. Hugs, Nancy
It's Monday and the new week - also flag day. I put the little flags out front of the house after watering the plants. I'd be a bit apprehensive about having 25 kids in the house too, but know you know it can be done and that everything worked out well. I'm sure your grandson had a wonderful time. Hugs, Wendy

What a great thing to do. Enjoy every minute of it. My grandkids are all grown now and I miss them. Only one comes to see us regularly, the rest call but not very often.

A busy start to the week for me. I have to pick up some birthday pizza for lunch with friends today. Tomorrow is a later lunch with a different friend because of a morning zoom tour to Pompei.
Last night was another late night but the good news is my Longhorns are going to the College World series in Omaha for the 37th time.
We got our yard mowed and trimmed; however the "feel like" temperature was 108. So now I'm off and running but...
to you today and every day. I have to go share my smile with everyone I encounter today and hope you will too.

Making my weekend rounds.. Hope you are doing well. We finally got some much needed rain. Had a thunderstorm on Wednesday and then it rained pretty much all day yesterday. Still not feeling well today - ate some eggs this morning - first time I've eaten since Monday. Not setteling too well . Gonna miss a big retirement party this afternoon at some nice friend's with lots to eat and lots of friends, but I cant' see going. Today is one of those days. Thought about mowing yesterday evening, but decided we would wait until this morning when it was cooler... bad decision!
That is what we woke up to today. The winds were very high (had to tie one of the wind chimes) but we only got 2/10" from it as it dissipated as it got near us or fizzled out as our weatherman often says.
Took this yesterday showing how much water we still have standing and how much we need to be able to mow. However, I got some other good pictures too.
