Hi ya Pam - not sure if you are off from work tomorrow but my guess is that even if you are off you won't be reading this till Friday as it's 11 where you are, or did we establish that you are on Eastern time? PT comes in the morning and I'm sure she's gonna want to start me using the cane which is a good thing - I can go out easier - but the waler gives me more stability - so we'll see how I do. Rich wants to go to Panera Bread tomorrow for lunch ( our breakfast) and it would be nice to just use the cane. I'll probably stay home tomorrow nite while he goes out to the Moose with our friends. Last week she bartended - there's only a few folks that come so it's not real busy . Hopefully I'll be going out next Friday and going back to dominoes on Sunday nite. It'll be nice getting back to routine things. Hve a good Friday Pam. Good afternoon to you. Its a partly cloudy day here and in the low 70's. I've been enjoying the cooler days as usually its already hot by now. Don't even need to run the air conditioner or fans yet. Got some windows and the doors open to let in the fresh air. I hope it isn't to hot for you where ever you live. Not much going on. Went to Walmart this morning and got the few things we needed. Evening Pam - how was your day - I think you said you had the day off, which is good. I'm sure you got a lot of things done in and around the house. It was about 67 today and will be about that all week including the Memorial Day weekend. They are calling for rain on Sat. so that's note good as our Post (VFW) always has a ceremony at a certain cemetary but who knows what will happen or if people will even show up. Wasn't feeling too good today - nothing to do with the surgery - had a fuzzy head all day but forced myself to make dinner tonite so Rich wouldn't have to do it.... Made potato soup and had Texas toast and had strawberry shortcake for dessert with the berries we got from the lady at the farm market. Still have more berries left and I want to make a strawberry pie next - something I have never done so it shoud be interesting. have a good day at work tomorrow - maybe that other lady will come to work and you'll have the rest of the week off. Hi Pam - I got up early to have PT at 10:30. She said I should try to use a cane and I haven't been with a walker for 2 weeks. Later we went to get strawberries. Couldn't find the place but finally when we did they were out of berries. A lady who was there ready to pay for the ones she picked, gave us hers, as she probably knew we couldn't go pick. You know she only picked the best ones and they were all huge. I have to admit they were really good but not as good as Jersey berries. I made strawbery shortcakes for dessert but the cakes didn't come out as I guess the Bisquik was too old as they didn't rise. I ate one but I'll throw the rest away - Rich ate one by itself as I nodded out on the couch. I didn't even see the end of Jepardy when the masters were playing. But there are more games to be played and I'll be awake to see them. The lady from PT said I was getting PT at home cause I was home bound. Guess that meant I wasn't supposed to go out of the house for anything. But that's not what I gathered from the doctor when he gave me a choice. I can't really go out anywhere anyway except if I go out to the Moose on Friday nites which I haven't. Haven't even gone to play dominoes. Rich made perogies for dinner with sauteed onions seasoned with lots of herbs. Might have hots dogs and potatoes tomorrow nite. How long are you gonna work Pam? Didn't know it was gonna be full time. Guess you worked today. I was in all day again today, Hope to get outtomorrow upptown to a market so I can get strawberries and maybe a few other things. I love farm markets - how about you? This is what went on today. We had a plumber friend come over to see why the shower is leaking - they fixed it for a while, but told us not to use it for a week. The fix might last 6 days, 6 weeks or 6 months but it realy needs a new shower. I've been telling Rich to get it looked at months ago. Anyway, thank goodness we have a shower tub in the hall bathroom.Always something in a house that takes your money. I just talked to my son, and he had to replace the diswasher as it didn't clean well and the girlfriend got tired of washing dishes by hand. It to be about 12-15 years old, so it was time. We had a nice sunny day with temps in the 70's and no rain till the end of the week. So much work needs to be done around here, I'm thinking of hiring my friend to come clean the house right before I get totally well and having the rugs cleand after that. Hi there. I'm a little late getting on here. Been watching American Idol on Hulu. I know they have already had the winner announced but I'm on where they haven't won yet. So don't tell me if you watched American Idol, to who won. I will watch it tomorrow to catch up. We have had rain off and on all weekend. Its been cool and cloudy here.
